Im baaaaaack!

Yeh i guess I’ll be travelling on 19th July for the wedding and all sorts going on in preparation. I think I’ll wait til after June’s ovulation to get my coil out... my first pregnancy (ended in mc) I was horrendously sick and I couldn’t handle that if I’m like it again, everything made me want to puke. So if I’m only implanting on the wedding day, the sickness won’t have had time to set in yet

What Donna said! You won’t even think about the TWW with all the wedding drama! Just don’t miss ovulation haha

Yeh true. I think it’s round 24th July that I come back, so nearly testing time

It’s ptracker lite. Never paid for the full version but you can put symptoms etc on it. It’s useful.
Another distraction will be breeding my kitty. I have the most beautiful British shorthair kitty, so she’ll be ready to get pregnant at a similar time to me lol. She will be 1 in June. She’s so cute

Oh how lovely, little kitties! I’ve downloaded a couple of fertility trackers which I’m sure will all be messed up once I come off the pill.

I don't think I'm going to worry about trackers until at least a couple of months into trying

Yeh Donna I never even used them when I was ttc last time, but since I know I have pcos I wanted to see what my cycle lengths are and if I have any signs of ovulation, so for me it’s a good symptom tracker and helps me to see if AF arrives 14 ish days after I record ovulation symptoms

I’m obsessed with putting in info so I know where I am, I loved doing it last time TTC Aria, I tracked EVERYTHING!
So going to be the same this time round too ahhhhhh

It’s helped me to know that I probably have been ovulating most cycles.... at least I get spotting etc and then 14-16 days after AF arrives. It’s reassuring for me as I had such awful problems ttc last time

:( I hope it’s not the same for you this time round.

Are you going to start taking supplements in the next month or 2?

100% yes. Folic acid for sure, and probably a generic multivitamin. Just last week I read a study that women who took folic acid prior to conception experienced a massive reduction in neural tube defects and a whopping 63% reduction of the child placing significantly in the autism spectrum.
I’ll probably start 1st March. X

Oh wow! Yep I’ve got mine in the cupboard already, seven seas trying for a baby, I took them last time and was happy so...

Will give that article a read now x

I struggled taking pregacare whilst pregnant though as it made the neausea worse, but will definitely try and find one that doesn’t make me feel errgguh next time haha x

To be honest tesco own are as good as pregnacare, they are expensive and like horse tablets  i have tonnes of free samples and still wouldn't take them.

the Pregacare ones are, yes, and the omega3 ones  vile! Will definitely try them then.

Do you think it’s worth hubby taking something too? (I’m not even going to suggest the lengthy list spermmaker suggests) haha

As far as men are concerned, there's not a lot of research that is conclusive or statistically significant anyway. From what I have seen a healthy diet with a decent about of protein and leafy greens, reducing alcohol intake (to minimal amounts) and reducing BMI if necessary have all been shown to increase the chances of conception. Guess that makes sense as it would improve their all-round health anyway, so it's going to improve sperm quality.

He rarely drinks alcohol as it is, but is also wanting to lose a few lbs so that’s all good to know.

I'm taking folic acid and vit D already. I started because we were going to start trying earlier and there doesn't really seem any point stopping now
