how long were you TTC after MC

I had a MC at 11 weeks in May and we both felt that we wanted to TTC again round about july time. When i got my BFP the first time we had been TTC for 2 months after me coming off the pill. I know it hasn't been long this time after MC but will it take longer do you think?

There is no medical reason it would take longer, infact you are usually more fertile for the few months after a mc due to the extra hormones.

I had a mc in May (surgically) and started trying right away, we got our BFP in the 3rd cycle.

I had a 11 plus 5 Missed MC on march 12th and had a D&C, tried straightaway, with no luck, but cycle was prob out then to be honest, and then had first period 28 days later 7th april, was really lucky and fell that month, got my bfp at start may.

I do think you are nore fertile after a MC as your primed and ready for it, but we did really go for it in the TTC dept, so enjoy trying and I wish you all the luck X

So sorry for your loss I mc naturally in June. I was using OPKs & temperature charting afterwards just so I knew where I was in my cycle. I didn't ovulate for 60days following the mc. Some people Ov as normal after a MC & others will have to wait much longer for their hormones to adjust. I was very lucky I had been keeping track as I fell pregnant with this one before I had a normal period. If I hadnt have been tracking my cycle I wouldnt have a clue how far gone I was until I had a dating scan! Unfortunately there is no set time for how long it will take for your body to regain normal rhythm. It is a very frustrating time & I totally sympathise xoxox

I waited for my cycle the next month and tried straight after. I fell pregnant straight away. I guess being more fertile afterwards was right for me xx

Theres no way of telling how long it will take everyone is different but as the others say you have a high chance of getting pregnant straight after. It took me 4 month after mc...not that long even though it felt it. Good luck xxx

Hi, I MC at about 6 weeks in June, had one period in July and got a BFP in August. I was on the coil and had it removed then got pregnant one month later the first time I got pregnant.

Basically, there is no way of knowing if women will MC or even why it happens but I think its too much of a coincidence for all the women I know and me included to have MC after falling pregnant in NO TIME at all after coming off contraception. I also believe that you are more fertile after a MC as it only took us 1 cycle and I am now approaching 14 weeks.

I really hope the next time is your time, there is no reason why it can't be just because you have had to deal with the horrible misfortune of MCing before. Sending lots of positive thoughts to you xxxxx

We started trying for a baby this Jan and I fell PG the first time after 3 months and unfortunately MCed at 7 wks. We started trying again 2 months after and we fell PG on our 1st month of trying again. Unfortunatley lady luck was not on our side and we had another MC at 10 weeks. We have just started trying again this month and the days can't go quick enough till we find out if we are PG this month. I am due to test on the 7th Nov but I know I won't beable to wait till then!!

I'm with ya girl!! Stay strong!! If you have got PG once you can do it again!!! Hope you get you BFP very soon! Dx

Just caught up on this, i MMC in May, was 7.5. My cycles have been awful and i am only just on my second normal one. Was kind of convinced i was PG this month, but the witch got me yesterday. Our due date is coming up and its painful knowing its just around the corner. But like they say " if you can fall once u can fall again", i am getting a bit impatient now!!!!

All these stories give us hope....

Thanks. Well did get my BFP 2 weeks ago and then had a MC straight away Anyway - cos i think that i have had another MMC inbetween this one and my first one in May (making 3 in a row) I have been brave and seen the doctor and have got referred to a recurrent miscarriage clinic. I know that they probably can't fins anything but feels better taking charge. At least i know that i can get pregnant quickly so fingers crossed for next time being soon and styaying with me.

Hugs!! it will happen, i have been TTC for exactly a year since my last MC and have just had a BFP, but other people i know have been trying for less or longer.
