Earlier today I got out the bath and when I was drying I could actually feel fluid coming out but put it down to just being out the bath.

But just been to the loo and my pants are wet and I'm sure it's not urine, it smells kind of sweet. I'm wary about calling maternity assessment cos I don't want to make something out of nothing. I also had a bit of white discharge too. Sorry if this is tmi lol. Just don't want to be over reacting but then again don't want to leave it. Maybe I should monitor it overnight x

O sorry can't help, as I don't know, my waters exploded (litrally) all over the MW when I was in labour so I've never had a trickle! Are you pretty sure its not wee??

Yeah i don't think it's wee lol, tmi but it doesn't smell like wee. It's so hard to tell with things like this. X

Yer I know... Would be nice if it was a certainly colour so we would no the difference... If it is your waters would they take you in or wait till you start contracting? X

The sweet smelling bit makes me think it could be your waters? As it meant to smell sweet. I am not sure. Maybe call? If not call in the morning. xxx

KellyHook - I'm not sure what they do if they have been leaking slowly, not sure if they maybe leave a few days to see what happens. Don't think they can leave you that long.

Shauna - it was the smell that made me suspicious too. I think I'll see what it's like in the morning. I hate phoning and making a drama when it could be nothing x

Yeah i know what you mean. If your waters are leaking they can't leave you long. xxx

If you are still leaking this morning id deffo give them a call hun. If its your waters i dont think they would have you in until you start getting contractions but id call anyway x

I was getting a lot of watery discharge recently and didnt know what it was... Called the delivery suite triage and they got me to wear a pad for 2 hours, then call back and answer questions to see if it is waters or not... Thankfully it wasn't but would definitely say it's worth giving them a call xx

i think they tell you to lie down for a half hour an hour then stand up and see if anything trickles out but im not sure mine have only ever gone or been broken after contracting x

Sorry to gatecrash but my waters leaked slowly the day before I gave birth, no contractions for ages! It does smell sweet and if you lie down for 10 mins and stand up and you feel it kinda gush a bit that's another sign. I went in and got it confirmed and monitored. They booked me in for an induction 2 days later but luckily I didn't need it! Definitely get it checked hun as you may need antibiotics in labour if they break early so the hospital needs to confirm it. Good luck! X

i had this kind of to but they put mine down to a more watery discharge... As the girls said i got told to lie down and when u stand up if its ur waters it will run when u stand up kind of, i was told to put toilet roll over my pad to properly moniter how much and colour of it- Call if u unsure hun x

I got up this morning and my pants were slightly wet but some of that i think was some urine from baby hitting bladder while i was sleeping. Im still none the wiser really. Ill see how it goes today and tonight. Its so hard to tell whats normal and whats not x

My waters leaked slowly with my dd and when i phoned the maternity unit they told me to come in so they could check. as it was confirmed as my waters leaking they told me to go home and come back in 24 hours or when the contractions start whichever comes first.
