How are all you new mummies doing?

I don't think it's his teeth- I've for him to stop crying but I still can't leave the room... I'm halfway tempted to prop a pillow up on he chair and crawl out on the floor so he doesn't see me.

tee hee made me laugh. But i really feel for you. Thomas had me up at 3am and 5am last night (hence the its time for a bigger bed!) and i felt like death. So I can't imagine what it would be like over a few nights.

That's no good at all jojo, looks like you have tried everything too. Think you need to leave hubby to it now he is home and go for a walk or something. I know it's late but you must be going insane with the crying!

Good luck tonight pumpkin, Thomas will be absolutely grand but you will have the worse sleep. After the first couple of nights you feel so much better tho x

I can't go for a walk around here at night... I'm
Downstairs with monitor off and watching orange is the new black

I've been in bed on and off all day!!! Had a really bad headache!

It's gone now though thank god!!!

Made Oscar banana, blueberry, strawberry and pear purée for lunch ( all fresh apart from frozen pear) and he bloody loved it! As it was quite runny I popped a spook of baby rice in to thicken it up!! Worked a treat! He had his normal breakfast and had veg for dinner so he's on 3 meals a day now ! And seems a lot more content and happier on that !

Got some spinach and more broccoli I will do tomoz :)

He also had some very cold ( been in freezer for 10) banana in a teething net which he bloody loved!!! Advise anyone getting one! Kept him entertained! Got a video I'm going to upload to Facebook Ina sec lol

As of 12:10am Luke is finally asleep! It only took6 hours!!

Nothing worse than a baby and a sore head! Hope your better. Glad luke went down too!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Hubby was out for a well deserved night out, got woken up half an hour ago to him puking... In the kitchen sink!! :wall: had to get him through to the toilet and clean up the mess.. It was rank. He's sleeping now thank god but he will defo pay for this one! ;-)

Hey mummies, I'm migrating from May mummies as I seem to just talk to myself on there now!!

Iris has her 8 week jabs today at 11am and I'm worried. Did your little ones (and more importantly you) cope ok? X

I hated the jabs but Harry was fine n never had any probs afterwards either. Hope it all foes ok for u hun.

Oh dear Jen that's not good he will have sum making up to do now!!

got woken up by Harry n daddy bringing me presents in bed fir my bday n lots if cuddles was the best birthday morning ever, love him so much.

Michelle.x

Aww Michelle that sounds lovely!!

Couldn't help but laugh at your husband Jen!!

Hi cherryberry the jabs are generally fine Stanley was fine oN his first two but was a bit sicky for a few days after his 3rd lot last week

Hi Hun!welcome along :) Jabs are ok - don't worry - few seconds of tears but it soon passes

Lots of cuddles and paitence as it does make them chingy and abit unwell ( majority anyway)

Happy birthday Michelle! Cherry, Summer only cried for a couple of seconds at jabs, it was more later on that she was unsettled. She got a temperature and was upset so I had to give some calpol, the doctor prrscribes some at jabs just in case xx

Cherry, Thomas was fine for all 3 of his. He cried when the needle went in, but stopped nearly straight away (basically let out a yelp) and I just told him what a good boy he was- he even had smiles for the nurses every time afterwards!

Well Thomas slept 9.30 till 8 in his own room. Not even a peep out of him so moving him hadn't affected his sleep, if anything it was better.

Need to get my purée on today. He has cheesy spinach with potato yesterday and then apple for dessert (had half a jar of each!)

So now I know he's a food Hoover I can start to do my own

Should say as we'll try to avoid calpol if you can, I can stop the body reacting as well to the invasion of germs

Thankyou everyone for your replies :) Jabs are at 11am. I've been and bought some calpol just in case but will see how she goes - I've got a feeling that it's doing to affect me more than it affects her haha. Wow pumpkin that's good sleeping :) Iris did 11pm - 6am last night and I was flabbergasted lol - I think it must be the heat!! X

He's been doing that for a few weeks now but had a couple of unsettled nights recently which I think was because he'd outgrown his crib in our room, so I'm glad he slept as well in his own room.

Tbh it's all a miracle compared with when he was 7/8 weeks old. I had to co-sleep for ages cause he wouldn't sleep on his own. Never thought I'd get to this!

Wow - you must be so relieved then :) it's only this week Iris has started occasionally going through the night although not always. Just have to enjoy sleep when we get it haha. I still wake every time she moves though!

Iris is such a lovely name!! You'll be fine with jabs - they cry for a bit it it's really no too bad... Luke was lucky and didn't get any side effects apart from getting a bit cranky - he didn't even get a red mark on his leg. That said I'm glad we're done for now, although I have a fear his 12 month jabs will be awful lol

Pumpkin so glad his first night went well :) Luke slept well until 9:00 lol it I was in a few times to check on him cos he was so quiet lol

I know this is cheeky but my best friends niece is running for face of kinder - if people don't mind could they vote for her as she would be so happy I she won! https://www.faceofkinder.com/gallery/entry/a5bb7064b5ea2be600bc3be20def6d4b

It's all signs, she's obviously preparing herself for big sleeps more often!
