How are all you new mummies doing?

For those who had the implant? How many of you had to take the mini pill to stop irregular bleeds? & how long did it take to stop after starting to take it?

Getting to the end of my tether with it. The implant would be brilliant if it wasn't for the bleeding. It's only light & no pain or anything but it defeats the purpose of needing one! My skins never been better & I've not been suffering with headaches/migraines as frequent as when I was on the combined pill

Bex I do that all the time, now I do it online so I get a chance to think about what I'm spending haha.

Had baby massage again today, not sure if she's getting much out of it, she spends most of the class squirming away from you, I'll keep at it tho.

Also got new veneers on my teeth today, I'm loving them. Thought id come out looking like Rylan but thank god I didn't!!

Have you found your more hungry etc on implant? I need to get my contraception sorted for skin but unsure which avenue to take! Never ever going on injection again I know that much

Nope not at all I was on the pill! I feel warm all the time tho but given I work in metal building with little insulation tho is a good thing!

I never for fresh produce online as you always get the stuff that goes out of date first! I always pull bread/salad/fruit and veg eyc from the back of shelf or the punnet underneath as it means you can get another 2 sometimes 3 days on the use by / best before date

I've considered veneers before.... Are they worth it? What's the maintenance on them?

I buy almost all my fruit/vg at the green grocers as it's cheaper and lasts so much longer - I get my eggs from a friend and they last ages cps they're from tee farm beside her house.

Luke won't touch butternut squash or sweet potato (not that I blame him - they're disgusting IMO lol) he loves everything else though. Loves bananas and raspberries and strawberries and blueberries. Seems to love potato and carrot and most veg and chicken and mince lol... He has a bit of everything
I've given up on baby rice and porridge though lol

Luke likes banana mixed with formula - usually had it for breakfast

Heard today my cousin is trying for baby 2 and my other cousin and his wife aww getting married in 2 weeks and are going to tart trying right away and I'm so jealous!! I want another baby so much right now! I'd live a small gap but me and hubby have agreed to wait until Luke is at least 10 months

I'm exhausted today, although id love another baby, after today I'm happy to wait abit until Thomas can move around on his own as I'm certain he's getting frustrated.

I'm eating too much again, normally got weather stems my appetite but I seem to be hungrier than ever right now

You have given like chicken/red meats already jojo? Are you making your own yet it still using jars etc?

I'm disappointed I bought some Heinz porridge today - it says +4 on the packet but contains gluten? What's the score there then as I thought no gluten untill 6 months etc?

I'm adding fruit to baby rice ATM for brekky and he seems to like it

So far he has only turned his nose up at parsnip - but I tasted it and nearly vommed even though I love roasted parsnip so don't blame him haha

Going to try him on apple and pear purée in the morning

Excited as MIL M+P nursery furniture is coming tomoz ! She's got everything ready! Think she may have him next sat for the day/evening whilst we are at my friends wedding - havnt 100% decided yet hmmm

I can't recommend the implant enough I was lucky and didn't bleed until the end when it was nearly due to be out then I had about 3 periods, I wasn't moody like I was on the pill, also the pill made me feel sick especially the sugar coated ones I'm crap at taking tablets though to be fair..

I'm quite looking forward to start weaning can't wait to see the faces he pulls with all the new tastes! Can't imagine baby rice will do that though, it looks so bland ha

Stanley's rolling over is getting a handful already he's trying to roll off his bath support, rolls throughout the night and can't get back over but wants to carry on doing it!??? Needless to say he's still waking up for a feed argh!
Those few weeks of sleeping through seem like a distant memory now!!

Bex, I live mine. Unfortunately not for cosmetic reasons tho. I had a fight with a wall when I was younger - the wall won!! I wouldn't do it to a healthy tooth tho.

I've always been pleasantly surprised with my delivery re dates and stuff. No complaints x

I bought the heinz porridge then noticed that so I've switched to aptimil for the next few weeks. We're loving the flavoured porridge.

I posted about Heinz products having gluten and dairy in them a week or so back. I don't see how they're allowed to label it 4+! I'm giving him fruit for breakfast because he worn take rice or anything like that right now so I might leave it till 6mobrhs and try wheatabix.

I've fed him a little home made mince - I made shepherds lie for him today - mince, potatoes, carrots and peas cooked in water and puréed and he likes it. - I mashed a little potato separate to give him different textures. I've also given him chicken and turkey but just small amounts. He has fruit and formula at about 9am, then a savoury meal at 1ish then some fruit and vegetable mix at 5ish uaually.

Spoke to my hv about it. The only reaction I found is that tomatoes give him really bad trapped wind. ( at least I think it was the tomatoes- maybe the peppers)

Hmmmm only aptamil porridge I saw was banana? I want plain porridge so I can add my own fruits in ?

Nat you can wean wothout gluten! Most brands 4-6 months are gluten free it's just Heinz I've noticed ! Weird really but will try find another !

Docs for implant i guess then!! Will get that sorted while hubby signed off

I've suffered with adult acne several times over past few years & this is the best it's been! My skin was awful post pregnancy & it's left me with some scars too but since having this I've had the odd spot now & then which I can deal with
