Why is he so insistent you start now?

He's not insistant - he just thinks Oscar is ready and keeps pressuring me to start the process

There's plenty time - the only reason I started really was that Luke was hungry but couldn't take more volume in his bottles and when we started it was obvious he was wanting food. When you do start you shouldn't have any issue as the milk he has is so thick you could almost spoon feed him lol

Are you planning to do blw when time comes or spoon feeding?

My goodness. Isabelle had her bedtime feed at 6.30pm, went straight down at 7pm and slept right through 'til 6.30am! Amazingly long sleep!

My lazy baby is still sleeping from 9.30 last night! Was at MIL for dinner and S was on someone's knee next to her and someone said 'aw she wants a bit look' and she put some clotted cream on her finger and gave it to her!!! I was raging. Why would you do that to a 4 month old?!

Bex ultimately the decision on weaning stops with you. Everyone is different. Well I have had a great start to the day. Hubby has gone to work. Came back in from waving him off to find the cat had vomited all over the floor so had that to clean up. Joseph decided he didn't want to be put down so cried. I was too busy trying to get to him to settle him that I have slipped on the wet from and hurt my knee so I'm hobbling around at the moment. Hopefully it will settle down soon x

Jen I would have went mad. People annoy me with Joseph. He has 2 half pouches and that's it and I certainly don't want him being given adult food x

Nah not keen on BLW - will start with purée and soft foods and as he gets older start introducing finger foods

well poor hubby is having a great day at work. I wish I had said yes when he offered to come home. He works for the ambulance service. 2 hours into his shift he has had two cardiac arrests and a hanging. Poor soul x

I made some raspberry purée but it's q
Quite thin (but tasty!) thinking what I could put with it ? Apple? Banana? Or just thicken it with baby rice? I've got 4 pots of it so maybe a few different things?

As much as I love Maddie I'm definitely not after another yet. I hated being pregnant if I could just skip the pregnancy bit I'd be all over it - even birth wasn't anywhere near as bad as my pregnancy, would do that again in a heartbeat!
