How are all you new mummies doing?

I'm sorry if I offend anyone who knows someone on strike but imanbpues!! Swimming is cancelled due to pool being on strike, bounce qnd rhyme (backup plan) is also on strike, my buns haven't been collected and now won't until next week and I have to wait another 2 weeks before recycling is collected! My bin is full... I'm so annoyed.

How he he'll am I supposed to go 2 weeks without a waste collection and a month without a recycling collection?! (Collected every 2 weeks)

I'm afraid that's poor planning by your local authority opposed to the people striking! Our bins are always emptied the Saturday following industrial action because they work Saturdays. As for activities being cancelled they've know about this for over a week (I got my ballot result back) so therefore they could have given notice of intent to strike!

The class is ran by an agency that rents pool space and they weren't notified so couldn't tell is last week - just posted a message on fb at 9:30thismorning (lucky I checked fb this morning) - on the upside my friend is on strike too so we met up for lunch and had a walk along the seafront with Luke

The local pub charges me for hot water. I know they have to heat up water but £1.69?! Livid - I would've walked out if my friend hadn't already paid for lunch lunch (she was paying this time so I couldn't just walk out)

Yeah we did. Just 12-3 but it was a nice day out. Going to hopefully see my other oldest friend (all 3 of us have been friends for 19 years) tomorrow for lunch too. She's the one that lost her baby about 6 weeks ago. Looking forward to catching up

I was out yesterday with a good friend all arvo her little girl is 4 n she fell in love with Harry which is good as her mum is due beg of Aug!!

Aw hope your friends ok jojo! :-(

Doc thinks they will cut it away, so probs won't be too bad but there was also talk of grabulated tissue which would be a bit worse so hoping not :-(

How much milk is your babies taking in a day now? A normally has about 33oz a day but only had 25oz today and has just feel asleep after only 2oz of her bedtime bottle!! Would I be better trying to feed her again before my bed given the hot weather today?

Thomas takes 35 to 40 oz a day. He has 6 8oz bottles but normally leaves abit of one of those

Austin takes 36oz a day! He's 18 weeks & is tracking just below the 50th centile & weighed 16lbs a few weeks back. Can't get him to take anymore & boy would I like him to! I'm sure this is the reason he will not go to bed before 9

Edit: because I've lost the ability to multiply

Austin takes 24oz a day! He's 18 weeks & is tracking just below the 50th centile & weighed 16lbs a few weeks back. Can't get him to take anymore & boy would I like him to! I'm sure this is the reason he will not go to bed before 9

Thomas is 21 weeks. He last weighed 14lb 9 and although he drinks 8oz he still goes to bed between 9 and 9.30. I don't think amount drunk has much to do with it!

Hi Everyone

Joseph is taking about 30ozs a day now but has only been doing this for the last two days. x

Watching obem always makes me cry never used to cry before!!!

Like tries to take 8oz but it's too much for him even though he's hungry

I think in Austin's case it does. He has 6x6oz bottles so won't go to sleep until after he's had his 6th. If he was to have 5x7oz which is more than his 35oz, surely he'd be satisfied sooner?

Idk maybe I'm just hopeful?

I have the same issue with Thomas needing 6 bottles (but they're 8oz!!!) he managed to pack them all In between 8am and 9pm before but since he's had his cold we are stuck in a rut of his 6th bottle being at 3am :/ don't know how to change that

Aw I don't feel so and then, everyone's about the same give or take. That's funny that they know that they get 6 and won't budge from it, such fickle wee things babies are! Aw I don't know pumpkin, I'm sure you have tried everything. Hoepfully he just comes out of it once cold is over :-( x x
