How are all you new mummies doing?

Hi ladies please tell me I'm not a bad mummy do any of you just let your lo whinge? M is so whingy n this morning I just had to leave her on her mat whinging so I could get a quick shower when I got back after 10 mins there were real years n everything felt so guilty but as soon as I picked her up she was quiet as a mouse! Xxx

I let Maddie whinge sometimes too. She has this real whinge she does when she's tired and fighting it but leaving her for ten mins is sometimes the best thing to so so I do whatever it is I have to do and by the time I get back to her and give her a cuddle it'll send her off to sleep!

Hayley has an upset tummy today, 4 poopy nappies already bleurgh! Feel like all I've done is change her bum not managed to do anything around the house yet.

I leave Hayley to have a wee moan sometimes, she tends to do it when she fights sleep but if I leave her she settles and falls asleep.

Today is seriously fooked. Was suppose to be round my parents for 10.30 so we could go test drive a car my dad wants to buy. Heard my dog howling, checked the time and it was 10.10. My stupid alarm hadn't gone off!

Now rushing around like a loon to get ready for 11.30 when we've rearranged the test drive for.

I have to say though I feel so much better for the sleep.

In other news I left the bin at the top of the stairs to hubby to take down and empty. And typically he hasn't done it .. Grrr how much of a hint to men need! Need time I'm going to put the pooey nappy on him

I sometimes leave Luke to whinge in a morning for a bit , you can't pick them up every time they make a noise or you'd never put them down some days. Luke moans all the way through the wright stuff (my hubby watches it) and my hubby posses me off my making it louder and louder until I can't hear myself think! Selfish sod!

Like had carrots, peas and pear today and aye it all without doing that weird face he usually does lol

I'm sorry if I offend anyone who knows someone on strike but imanbpues!! Swimming is cancelled due to pool being on strike, bounce qnd rhyme (backup plan) is also on strike, my buns haven't been collected and now won't until next week and I have to wait another 2 weeks before recycling is collected! My bin is full... I'm so annoyed.

How he he'll am I supposed to go 2 weeks without a waste collection and a month without a recycling collection?! (Collected every 2 weeks)

Harry has to b left to whinge sumtimes too.

Can not believe my hubby today he is on a late shift so we decided to go out get his hair cut at out local hairdressers n then pop to a little garden center close to is for breakie. Was lovely to get out in the sunshine n enjoy a nice bit of time together until just as we finished hubby face went white n he jumped up saying omg I have left a pan of pasta on the hob!!

I kid u not he had to leg it Home n I arrived 10 mins later wondering if I wud have a house to return! Thankfully it was still standing but smoky as hell in here! Have given Harry his breakie right near the door b all Windows n doors r open but as we live in a bungalow poor Harry's room was smoky. Its not now n I've had to put him in bed as he's knackered but worried about his little chest. Have set up a ball pool for wen he wakes outside so we can go in the garden.

so cross with hubby know he didn't mean to but so stupid!!!

The underneath of Hayleys neck (right in the crease bit) is really red as it's wet alot as she's so sicky. I do try and dry it but I was wondering if there was anything that would be good to put on it to help the redness die down?

I leave Emma to whinge a bit too. Although that's most the day! I had enough one day and had to go sit at the bottom of the garden for a break. I knew she was safe. Sometimes we just need to do it.

Ooo Michelle, that was lucky he remembered!

Oh Jojo predictive txt strikes again! Buns not collected? Lol. We only get our bins collected fortnightly here.

So much for the morning nap!

I'm jealous you got to sleep. Lol

My oh is the same. He will step over mess and take no notice. I've just had a quick tidy up and he just left all his clothes for yesterday in the middle of the room! Laundry basket is about 5 steps away too! Grrrr

Oh Michelle my OH is like that too! In the last 2 months he's twice left the gas hob on with a frying pan of oil! We were in the house at the time but I didn't notice the smoke as me and Hayley had been in there for ages so it was so gradual!

I'll try some sudocrem tonight after her bath! Hayleys getting better with her head control and always wants to sit up now so I think it will be better in due course as she'll get more air in there

My OH always used the "floor-drobe" instead of putting clothes away or in the laundry basket. He had clothes and socks on our bedroom floor everyday and always leaves his dirty pants on the bathroom floor.

I get stubborn sometimes and refuse to pick them up...but he can outlast me and leave them for ever so I end up giving in and picking them up myself. Thankfully he's a good cook so I'll keep him around :P

So much for the morning nap!

Toria we have those sheets/nursery set and I think from the looks of it that cot! Is it a dream weavers one? That's a cute face to wake up to! X

I'm not sure. They are from mothercare. Liked how they have a bright pattern :-)

That was supposed to be her morning nap. Peeked in to see if she was sleeping and she was like that. Think she was practicing rolling over.

Haha Emma was not for napping this morning!

We use sudocream to kaedin on advice from pharmacist and she said you can put Vaseline on like 15 mins later too to try and keep moisture out.

Well S loved turtle tots, she was kicking away like crazy in the pool. The instructor kept saying how well she was doing and how content she was, was such a proud mama.

On a negative note, after having a lovely feel about which had me jumping from table, and a look, doc says there's stitching left over that's not dissolving, been referred to gynae :-( you would think after childbirth I would be less scared!

Oh dear Jen! What will they need to do to make it disolve? Hopefully it's quick and stops the pain for you!!

Glad S enjoyed swimming, I can't wait to take Hayley, but OH is reluctant :( Thanks, I'll put some vaseline on it too!

I can't believe someone charges me £1.69 to heat my baby bottle today. I was slams but didn't really have an option in the matter
