How are all you new mummies doing?

Yes jo she's got all sorts in the bath a bubble machine n loads of toys I've tried singing playing boo round the door me n pete were dancing round the bathroom singing let it go that kept her quiet for a bit lol!
I'm having a soft play party at the local leisure centre as my house is like a rabbit hutch! I'm having a sofia the first theme I can't wait love organising things! We also booked our hol today we going to Menorca on June 1st :-) xxxx

Nice nat! You going to that place me and your friend reccommeded?

Ahh that will be cute :)

I think I am just doing a tea party round ours for his birthday, it's on a tuesday what a rubbish day!
We are moving into Chris house for a few month as there has been a hold up on the one we are supposed to be moving into so will just do the party there as its a decent size.

Where yA going on holiday Bex? I can't wait for ours still need to sort stanleys passport like.

The three of us are having a family day on Ryan's birthday, will go out somewhere, will be quiet as it's a Tuesday. But having a party at a local village hall on the Saturday after, they do a baby group there with loads of toys, for £20 you can hire the hall and for £20 extra u can have all the toys out, soft play stuff, jumperoos, all sorts! Ryan's the youngest of all his friends by about three months except miss Ellie! (Tracey where are you!?) so they're all running about like lunatics. I don't need ten babies in my living room tearing shit up lol no thank you! X

We're doing a family party for Thomas on the Saturday (I've ordered a Mike the knight cake from my friend who did my wedding cake) and then we're going to Colchester zoo on either the Friday or Sunday. Just depends on what hubby is doing work wise. Really looking forward to it!!

Nat I really feel for you. Thomas has been exactly the same with bedtimes on and off for two weeks.

Well He's been fine in the bath though. However today I think I've cracked it (although not holding me breath). We did get up much earlier than normal (7am opposed to 8am) but he had a nap 10 till 11.30 and then another one from 2.30 to 4 and I put him to bed earlier at 7.45 and he went down much easier and has only stirred a couple of times.

I think he's just been really tired with all the extra movement and babbling he's been doing so I'm going to try and replicate this tomorrow. Problem is we have a few baby groups and things that totally interfere with this so guess I'll have to do earlier bed time on those days

Reminds me I need to do Thomas' passport for when we go away in June!

Miiiiiiiiike the knight is a brave young herooooooo lol sorry! Hahaha

Hehe - I really wanted a castle and he's obsessed with a knight we have, plus I love squirt

I don't even know who mike the knight is lol

I'm baking it myself so I'm getting a big 1 cake mould

I'd love to bake myself but I'll burn it (I always do with anything I make first time) so im not even going there!

I'm torn between a big number 1 and a thomas the tank engine

Omg worst 20 mins ever! Austin woke up with really raspy short breaths & a cough that resembles a seal call! Never heard anything like it. Breathing sounds a bit better but cough the same. Waiting for call from emergency doctor

Thanks - Chris googled whilst waiting for the doc to ring (who rang within 10 mins) & we'd figured it was croup which the doc was able to diagnose by listening. Apparently it can cause them to panic hence the breathing!

It's worse at night so a rough few nights ahead :(

Thomas has been fine all night, went down ok and only stirred once. He's now wide awake though.

Aw poor Austin! Hope he's feeling better and managed to get some sleep.

I've no idea what to do for hayleys birthday, didn't really want to do a party as not sure if I can afford it. Don't really know any mums with kids around hayleys age so it would be all adults - so might just have a little family get together, just something quiet

Poor Austin. And how scary for you.

We're going to invite family around for party food. It's going to be a real squeeze getting everyone into our one room - oh how we are wishing we'd had a summer baby! Thinking about taking her to soft play and/or a local farm park on her birthday.

He's fine in himself. The cough is awful & he's obviously finding it distressing. I've booked him at the docs tonight. Emergency doc said theirs no treatment for it coz its viral but can lead to other infections so gonna get them to check him over
