How are all you new mummies doing?

I may grab a 2 pack in town tomorrow - it was my hubby who said about it

I was like - ' no you idiot it's size 1/2/3 then vari flow' they don't do bigger sizes

Low and behold be showed me on his phone - kinda felt an idiot as I didn't even know size 4 existed lol

S is defo in her 6-9 after next week. I tried on some of her dresses for hols, 2 which she hasn't even worn and they are a bit tight over the chest!! Takes after her mum I done the same as you at next Bex and bought the same, in bigger. I can hold onto her being a wee baby for longer

Jojo dr browns do premmie, 1,2,3,4 then Y cut ( apparently y cut is for thicker liquids so not sure weather to buy those ? Hmm )

I've sterilised likes soft spout that you can put on his bottle and I'm foingn to try him out on it with some cooled water tomorrow during his lunch

I've got a nuby soft spout'ed sippy cup I've started to give Oscar with water in with meals

He just chews it haha

Luke will take his soppy cup but it's got a split wheew you have to suck to get the liquid and he doesn't really know what to do with it

I give Stanley his MAM sippy cup and he chews it! It has got a slow flow filter thing that ya cn take off but the water just pours out! He's got to really suck and bite down a bit on it..

It's only 18 in Stanley's room tonight I've got a feeling he's guna wake up cold he's in a vest and baby gro with 2 cellular blankets and two holey Woolley ones and another blanket thing, you'd think that would be enough but I've got a feeling he's guna wake up cold, it feels cold in there

It's gone down to 21 which probably means it'll be 19-20 overnight. Like is on pj's and a 1.5 tog so should b ok

Hayleys went to sleep just after 8:30 but has been stirring loads. I've had to come upstairs at least 5 times as she's been crying until I put dummy back in. Hoping for a full nights sleep..fx!

Thanks ladies, I hope I do find someone but I guess I've got alot of baggage with my ex now that I think anyone my age would run a mile for something easier! But I think my ex will get bored of making things so awkward! Not that I'm looking for anyone just now, happy to spend my time just me and my daughter Going swimming next week for the first time Hoping my dad can take a picture of us secretly as I know you're not really allowed!

I washed and sterilised Hayleys feeding spoons so she can get used to holding it, so I'm starting to get really excited about weaning.

I was thinking of doing the same kaedin. Just to get used to them, also maybe with a wee cup. Your ex will get bored pretty soon, it's all still so fresh and new.

I put S in her 2.5 tog with sleepsuit and vest and she seems fine. Can hear her squealing and talking through monitor haha!

Aw kaedin meant to say too, go to a pool with a viewing bit and your dad can take pics from there, zoomed in, discreetly. That's what we did x

Our pool allows photos if you get permission in advance.

We've started sitting up at the table for meals and Isabelle sits in her highchair with cup and spoon to play with. I'm in no rush to start weaning her though!

Yeah I've washed and sterilised her free flow cup too. Can put a little bit of water in it so she doesn't end up soaked haha!

Hayley woke a few times through the night again At one point her hands were freezing though, so think I'll have a look at the heating to put it on for a short period in the middle of the night.

Well Ruri slept until 8 am today, according to his dad lol! I got home at 4:30am and just stayed with my mum so OH dropped him off this morning the killers were incredible! Best band I've ever seen live. Don't think I would drive to Glasgow and back in the same night again though!

I've been doing the same with Ruri and spoons. Apart from one shot of it going in the eye, he's been pretty good at chomping on it!

So after Emma slept through again on Sunday night, she woke through the night again Monday night so thought it was a one off. Then last night I noticed Chris had turned the heating off after I turned it on Sunday night to see if that's why Emma was waking. So then last night she slept through again ( other than a little blip at 2am when my 5 yr old had a coughing / crying fit outside Emma's door). So now I'm convinced shes been cold. Fingers crossed for tonight!

So I guess I'm not going out today! They're laying pipes in he street and I have no pavement at all outside my driveway lol hope it's better for tomorrow because I have to go out!!

Well I think grill be sealing it up as soon as they have laid the pipes. I'd be mad if I had somewhere to go... I dare say they would help me carry the pram over or something but it's far too dusty to take him
