How are all you new mummies doing?

Hayley has been super tired again today. She slept for over an hour and a half this morning, then even when she was up she was still shattered. Quickyl gave her a bath at 6 then she fell asleep so I tried feeding her a bedtime bottle but she didn't finish it.

My ex said she slept from 8 until 8:30 without stirring. I don't believe this. Hopefully she has a long lie tomorrow. Got my HV coming tomorrow, excited to find out what she weighs hehe

Have you mentioned him to the hv?

I wouldn't buy the perfect sleep thing either.

Well I haveild backache, I'm tired and I have awful gas... I hope it's my body playing tricks and it's not early pregnancy symptoms lol

I've had a bit of a shit day and can't wait for bed! HV tomorrow for Ruri's 12 week check... At 19 weeks!

Weather here has been awful. Hope it's been nicer for everyone else? Hope Bex's BBQ went well!

Oh one good thing did happen, Ruri managed his first solo roll over!! Can't find his way back over yet but happy days :)

Jojo, have you got an early pregnancy test?

Kaedin, as Jojo said. Worth speaking to your hv bout your ex. He's probably trying to annoy you by saying she sleeps well with him. If she's so tired today I reckon she was up all night. Did he bring back the formula?

Go Ruri! Emma is 6 months today and can't roll back yet. She's driving me round the bend waking herself up rolling in the night.

Too early. I'll wait a few weeks. I'm
Probably not pregnant - I mean it was just once and 4dpo is way too early for symptoms so I'm
Probably just worrying myself over nothing... Although I haven't had this kind of backache/wind since I was pregnant.... Maybe it was what i ate

I've not met this HV yet, this will be my first time as I've just changed to this doctors. Didn't think I should mention it as I didn't really think they would be able to do anything? thought it's more something I should just speak with my solicitor about?

Thankfully he did bring back the formula and all 4 bottles I gave him. The thing that worries me, is that he's a deep sleeper so he only wakes if she's crying for ages, so I worry that he's saying shes slept fine but in reality she's been moaning for ages through the night? really wish I could bug the house just to be a fly on the wall to see how she is/taken care of. I doubt it's true as she's always exhausted when coming back from his, and if she's been waking with me at 4am for a good few nights on the trot, it'd be odd for her to always be fine when with him.

The weather in Glasgow has been awful, I like when it's dry and I go out a walk with Hayley in the pram, but I really can't be bothered doing anything when it's raining and just dreich! :wall2:

Jojo, we only dtd once and got Emma. And I knew within days. Even though the pregnancy test didn't give me a positive for another week or so.

My sister has 16 months between her kids. Both sections, and all was fine.

I think you shoukd mention it to the hv as it's good for them to know the situation.

Toria... It's my back... Kinda an ache//pressure/pain but not like I've pulled it, slightly in my hip too. And not to be crude but my farts? WOW!!

Doesn't sound good. Crap.

Well

BBQ went well!! Few no shows which I'm pissed off about but you always get them right? Everyone fed - lots of thumbs up!

Cake was amazing by our friend ( she's a top chef )

Started getting a headache about 2ish.. By 5 I was in agony ! Luckily everyone left about 6 and hubby put me straight to bed as it was now pretty much a migraine!! Got woken up at 7.30 as Oscar was screaming and hubby couldn't get him to settle bless - ( he's been fussy the past week) so I settled him and gave his bottle , hubby took over the bottle , burped him as he was asleep by that point and put him down

Next thing I'm waking at 9.30 gasping for a drink - get up. Then the sickness hit - migraine sickness! Had a spew in the toilet , glass of water and mouth wash - woken up now at 3.30 no migraine !! Phew

Oh and sis in law came around with a bag of clothes from debenhams where she works!

2 Casper conran rompers
3 jasper conran jumpers/hoody
Ted baker tshirt vest

All in the sale but bloody lovely !!! Spoilt little boy!

Migraines are awful! I had one weds & also had sickness but I don't think the sickness was caused by it on this occasion. I think I'd picked up a bit of a bug. I had some anti sickness tablets left from what doc prescribed when I was pregnant so I took 2 lots of those during the day & the headache slowly started to go once I was able to rehydrate.

Had a nightmare few nights with Austin. I wondered whether we'd hit the next sleep regression early but last night he slept thankfully! His first tooth cut a few days ago & I thought that might have made it more bearable but it's still pushing through & must be causing him some pain the poor lad

Glad you're feeling better now Bex. I had some migraines during pregnancy and they're horrid. Enough to put me off having another baby, as no way could I look after a toddler with a migraine!

Glad BBQ went well Bex, relax today if you can! I hate migraines!

Well I feel like a new person today! Emma slept 7:45 - 6:45 without a peep, then dummy in and back to sleep till 7:45! We changed a few things yesterday and I actually thought we were going to have a bad night! Now to remember everything. New 2.2 to 6-18 month sleeping bag, 3+ nappies for night, and we also dropped a bottle. Fingers crossed it wasn't a one off.

Glad you had a good BBQ Bex, shame about the migraine tho!

Great news about Emma too, fingers crossed for you.

Well it's official, daddy is off for 4 whole weeks yay!! Our second anniversary today so he's taking his girls for lunch to my fav Thai place then last minute holiday shopping :-) x

Glad your BBQ went well Bex :) I've had migraines since I was little, they are horrendous! Hope you're feeling better today.

Ruri was up quite a lot last night, just wide awake so in the end took him into our bed! I was looking at his bag last night and even though he's not 6 months yet I think he needs the next size?

Aw lovely, enjoy your anniversary!! :)

I had an awful night, Hayley woke at 4am again!! And nothing would get her to settle for hours. Eventually she fell back asleep but woke just before 7am so ended getting up and making her a bottle. :nap:

Got the HV coming soon, and my highchair is being delivered today, need to get a move on as my house looks a mess

Don't worry too much Kaedin, they don't judge you in the house!

Thanks all!

No rest today - quick bowl of cerial before oscars nursery taster session :( back to work in 2 weeks!!

Great news about Emma Toria!

Just read an article of signs that your baby is a genius... Poor skeeping is one of them as they struggle to switch off. Maybe some of the babies are just geniuses and it's not 4 month sleep ;-)
