How are all you new mummies doing?

I don't miss work at all and am considering quitting...

I love my job I just don't like where I do it! Quite like you Jojo. I think my plan is to find the same sort of thing and do it a couple of days and do a degree from home.

I actually think he would keep giving her a different formula, just cos he doesn't want to buy any more. I told him 2 weeks ago to buy a sleeping bag as he's got her in a cot now and I worry that she may put a blanket over her face and he hasn't bothered. He hasn't bought a thing for her so far, it's ridiculous. I'm going to speak to my solicitor again as he was shouting and swearing at me when picking her up, so I want to know how she would recommend I proceed. I don't want to report it to the police incase it means he can't come pick her up, then ill need to take her someone to drop her off or his family may need to come get her.

I don't miss my work at all. I think I may be better off not going back as I'm now a single mum, found out today my Working Tax and Child Tax credits have been put into my bank. So going to start looking at a cot for Hayley, as she's nearly too big for her moses basket. But I have no idea where to put it in my room once I buy it

Kaedin don't forget they recommend you use formula within 1 month of opening it

Hi all :)
I thought I would say hello! My baby boy is a similar age to your little ones by the sounds of it! However he was born 7 weeks premature so is behind standard in terms of development etc.

I'm having a fab time on maternity leave, even though I'm lucky if I can actually shower some days! (Like today!)

I find it can get a little lonely at the moment so I hope you don't mind me occasionally joining in x

Wow I really need to change my profile pic and ticker! Job for this evening! X

Welcome!! I remember the non showering days! I'm lucky I always manage to have a shower in the morning and wash my hair

I haven't, at the moment I won't be able to afford to move out of my parents as my ex has all our furniture and stuff so I'd need to buy everything myself. Yeah, I'll remind him it can't be used after that timeframe, but he isn't exactly one to stick with recommendations of not to use stuff ect.

Hi Flower :) Some days I can't find the time to get a shower either!

Hayley has been a little grumpy today, think her jags have affected her slightly. She's got red marks around the injection spot so I'm keeping my eyes on them, they arn't very big so I think it's all very normal. I've done lots of clearing in my room, sorting my clothes and even Hayleys clothes that she's outgrown to give to a charity shop.

Kaedin have you considered selling her clothes in bundles

Never though of selling her stuff, doubt I'd get much money for them and I like giving stuff to charity as think someone who is struggling financially can get some decent stuff for their baby

Hi Flower, I'm Victoria (toria) and had my little girl Emma 17/02 a week before her due date. Also got 2 older kids. 5 & 8.

Kaedin, tell him the health visitor said Hayley needs the anti reflux milk.

Hi flower I remember the days wen showering was a big deal b to get dressed n out the house was a flipping miracle lol.

Michelle.x

Hi Flower Kaedin he is being ridiculous. she needs the milk she is on the silly man. I don't want to think about going back to work. Maternity allowance finished beginning of November. Get my last payment late October. I am trying to work it so I don't go back until Jan. I forgot all about my KIT days so I think I will keep them and use them while I am on no pay. Work will be no bother with me and I can work round my husbands shifts. I love being off with Joseph but I need to work to keep my mind active as well and for us to have the luxuries that we have xxx

I mentioned KIT days to my manager before I left and he didn't have a clue, so don't think I'll get them at my work.

Having a nightmare of a day now! For hours Hayley has been screaming, then within a minute she stops and starts smiling and giggling for a few. Then back to screaming! Won't taker bottle or dummy, play with any toys, doesnt want to sit up, lie down. Eyes are rolling as she was soo tired all day, yet she wouldn't nap just been fighting it all day. I'm so grateful that my dad was home today otherwise I would have broken down. She's finally just fallen asleep now in her moses basket with white noise playing. But Im hoping she wakes up as otherwise itll be another 4am wake up :wall2:

As far as I know everyone gets them Kaedin. May be worth a chat with your HR department. Is she maybe teething? Just a suggestion but if she sounds like she might be in pain I would personally give her a little bit of calpol and some teething gel. I hope she wakes soon for you and is happier. Joseph is asleep on his Daddy at the moment after having his bottle. He's teething so I am not going to wake him bless him x

Oh really? My work are pretty useless so they probably do, but they just don't know heh.

I've given her 2 doses of calpol so far today, but they didn't seem to have an effect. Fingers crossed :D

I don't get paid formy kit days until I'm back at work because otherwise it inferes with my maternity leave. Not sure if that's just my company.

Thomas is now screaming really loudly, like a full blown scream. It's really giving me a headache now

I'm all stressed about work. I have to write another letter! This time about what effects my flexi working will have and what they should do about it
