Just taken Thomas swimming again at the local water bugs lessons. Had a good time this week and he had his first submerge which went ok. Spluttered abit after he was pulled up but then had a little smile after I praised and clapped.

I looked up baby swimming at my gym this morning, and they don't do anything for babies under 6 months :-(

Did try the crèche while I attempted the gym, and Emma did well no crying! they fed her too :-)

Well Stanley's new best thing in the bath is to pull his willy he did it the first time a couple of weeks ago now it's all bath time haha

Aw man hope he grows out of that one Stacey! Least it's just at bath time ;-)

We have had a funny day today. I feel seriously pissed off for something and nothing. Hoping it's the first sign of af!!

Little boys just get more and more obsessed with their willys! Little girls constantly pull up their skirts and flash their knickers and little boys constantly rummage!

Me too! Looked like he was guna pull the poor thing off! Chris said leave him he'll stop if it hurts! Ha :|

God yeah, Scarlett loves a wee flash, hope it's not a sign of times to come ;-) x x

Haha Maddie likes to lay starkers with both knees bent and hands behind her head, praying to god she grows out of that one haha!!

Omg I'm so tired! Went to my mums and popped like down in the travel
Cot in the spare room then we made 40 cupcakes, a cherry loaf, a spice and ginger load, a Victoria sponge and 2 chocolate cakes. Came home at about 11:45 and poor Luke was fast asleep - I'd have stayed over if dad wasn't at work at 7am so needed sleep. We brought him back and now trying to settle him again doh!

Gotta love when your hubby wakes the baby up at 5.30 by dropping the toilet seat and your left with her cos he has to go to work :-( hate this day already!!

Wow that's alot of cakes jojo, sounds yummy hope u managed to get him back down quickly again.

Poor u Jen, hubby use to wake Harry up wen he left for work at 4.30 but he doesn't seem to now thank God.

Got so much planned this weekend so typically I have woken up feeling awful n with a very sore throat.

We're going to some friends today and I've been in a frenzy of packing to get Thomas's stuff sorted. Haven't sorted myself out yet but all of his things are in the car. I swear going for a day is the same as a week.

Well Oscar did better last night! Bed at 7, stirred at 11 - dummy in, stirred at 5 , dummy in- bottle at 6.45

Hope he's re learning how to settle !!

I'm off out tonight for the first time since march 2013!!! Wish me luck!!

Oh and hubby went to docs yesterday as he's been in bad pain all week and he's trapped a nerve in his back and got to have MRI scan with possible 6 week sign off! With him on SSP and me on SMP- we are going to rack up some debt!! :(

Morning all. Glad you're all getting on well - sorry to hear about your hubby bex!

My oh goes back to work on Monday and I'm absolutely dreading it. I had a Caesarian so can't drive for another three weeks and we're in a first floor flat and I'm not meant to lift much so I don't think I'll be able to get the buggy downstairs a without help.. I really don't want to be stuck in the flat cos I'll go cuckoo! How did you all cope when your partner went back to work? X

Cherry I thought the same thing about when oh goes to work, just don't worry about the first few days, my friend said to me that all you have to do is take care of baby, doesn't matter if you don't even leave the bedroom. After a day or two you find your stride! Can hubby put pram downstairs for you when he goes to work? Then bring it back up when he gets home? Xx

Yeah there's a summer fayre today so I baked with mum :) Luke did go down about 12:30 and stayed there until 6:30 then dummy in Nd asleep until
9 lol

I loved hubby going back to work because we got our routine much better. I'd def ask him to put pram downstairs for you.

Morning Ladies, I'm venturing into this thread for the first time. I think we had our first sleep through last night, Phoebe went 10pm-6am. She usually goes down earlier in the evening which is probably why she slept later, but I'm not complaining, it was nice to have a long sleep ourselves!

We also had her first smile in the bath yesterday so she's doing it all at once!

I love a cake they r so my downfall in the struggle to get my tummy back!! N all of urs sound lush.

I was so worried wen hubby went back to work but it went surprisingly well as u do get into ur own routine.

Cherry I had a csec and I drove after 3 weeks as checked with insurance company and they said as long as I felt OK it was fine.

Thanks for everyone's advice. Had a much better day and night yesterday. She slept a lot of the day as must have tired herself out.my oh had her last night so I could sleep and I expressed. He said she did have am unsettled couple of hours but then slept 10:30-3 and then 3:30-6:30 and had another nap this morning. She seems so much happier today so fingers crossed, if not I think I will give the colief a go to start with xxxxx
