How are all you new mummies doing?

I ordered some silicone ice cube trays for freezing baby purée and vegetable stock etc and waited 2 days over estimated delivery time - emailed them yest and got same response!! Put of stock so will refund! Such a pain!!! GAH

Good news on the high chair though!! That's a result even if it's a muck up!

Ps we have 4 month regression I swear! Bed at 7, up at 9,12,1 - bottle at 2.15

He's still stirring ...

He has done similar the past few nights :(

Great night! Down at 7.30, up at 2.30, down at 3, up at 6.30. Amazing!! :-)

Sooo he went back down till 3.30 then 4.15

I turned the monitor off at this point and left him to it as he's only next door - he woke me up at 7!

Pretty damn tired!!

Keeping my fingers crossed but no issues with sleep yet. Thomas did 9.30Pm to 7am - think we might have a little snooze now

Euch it's gonna be the hardest to go back to sleepless nights again! Well she's still sleeping from 8 last night so thats amazing, I better enjoy it while is lasts cos I know oscar was doing this Bex

8.45 til 6.45 - I'll take that.

Can't believe my bubba is 11 weeks today, how on earth was that 11 weeks ago that I had her?! This time exactly 11 weeks ago I thought I had severe constipation til a midwife told me otherwise haha!

Stanley woke at 5 then 7 pretended to have a poo by straining for 5 minutes changed his clean nappy! Now he's snoozing beside me

Hayley had fallen asleep around 6pm so I thought she would be up crack of dawn, but had to wake her at 9pm to take her out of rocker chair change her bum put clean clothes on and put her in moses, after putting dummy in a few times she fell back asleep and didn't wake until 6:30. she wouldv'e slept longer but OH properly woke her up before leaving for work by talking to her and moving her arms and legs....grrrr

Joseph decided he wasn't tired at all when I put him to bed at 8pm. Ended up bringing him back downstairs which I very rarely do and he played until 10pm when we all went up to bed. On the plus side he slept til 7.15am x

Well done Joseph

I don't have an upstasirs downstairs house but I think it makes it easier as shes just next door - but I would trade it for a larger house!

bounce and rhyme yesterday was really good, went with a girl I met @ baby massage (hoping to keep talking to her so I have a friend who lives nearby & also has a young baby) Hayley started crying near the end as she was tired (up all night before) Think it will be better in a few weeks once I learn the words & moves ect. So will try my hardest to keep going :D

Thanks Kaedin. I have more or less got him sorted. He normally goes to bed at 8pm and has been sleeping until just after 6am (dream feed at midnight). Aw brilliant must be nice to have people in your area with a little one the same age as your own. x

Yeah I'm happy as I don't have any friends now really. The one friend I have left if my friend since primary 1 so since we were 5! But she's moved to London for Uni so I don't even get to see her, so other than that I'm alone. Which sucks.

The older you get you realise many people, including "friends", really don't care about you at all!

Me & Hayley are going to visit my big cousin today and will get to meet her little baby girl! I'm excited, think Hayley will look huuuge compared to a new born - which is both scary & cute

Aw lovely. I know exactly what you mean. I moved 40 miles away from home when I met my husband so the friends I had from school dwindled away and normally I am at work so apart from my work friends down here and the odd friend and there I don't really bother. I got sick of ''friends'' who only speak to you if they want something. We have a particular friend who we bought for both of their children when they were born. The little one of theirs is not a year old so can't count birthdays yet but the older one has had presents every birthday, christmas and easter. She has seen our little boy once and he partner has never seen him as we only ever saw them if we went to theirs or we were paying for them to go out. My husbands counsin has 2 children who we have always bought (the oldest is 8). He also has 4 step kids which we have bought since he got with his partner in 2010. They have been over once. We took 6 easter eggs and presents over at easter. Joseph never got a thing so no more. I'd rather have my little bubble (sad I know) x

Just had hv in - apparently the weaning guidelines are about to change back to 4 months and weaned by 6 months. Got the go ahead to wean earlyish as his head control is so good and he's sitting wih support really well - in fact she was amazed he sat up for a whole 30 mins without falling over

Luke slept better tonight from 9ish ( was up and down the stairs 7-9 lol) woke at 6;45 which is better than the last few nights

It's not just me then. I have a friend from school I see and another friend who is married to one of my husbands mates but that's pretty much it. People don't seem to be interested anymore in making friends and I stupidly didn't go to an NCT anti natal so have missed out there too.

I don't think you realise until you have a baby what people are like. The unexpected ones pull through and the expected don't! If I hear one more time, especially on fb 'aw need to come see S, I have a pressie for her' then never hear from them! I'm lucky I have a group of friends from school and others I see here and there, but my best friend of 15 years is moving to Amsterdam in 6 weeks :-( she has 3 kids who I'm so close to aswell as it's pretty devastating! Keep going with the baby classes tho guys, I've met some lovely people through that too. New people join all the time too x x

We're having sleep issues too. Bed at 7:45 as usual last night, but Emma was screaming her head off 10 minutes later, so back downstairs and had another 4oz then back to bed. Grizzly for a bit but asleep by 8:45ish. Then up wide awake at 4! Arghhhh. An hour of back and forward putting her dummy in, I gave up and turned the monitor down and left her to it. Up at 5:45 though. Not what I need. Couldn't even feed her and back to bed as I had to be at school by 7:45 :-(

I'm gonna get as much porridge in her at dinner time tonight and see if that helps!
