omg i read on the internet that theres no point trying till at least a month or two after having the copper coil out...is that true help meeeeeeeeeeeeeee :-(

hi lou lou not really sure on copper coil but didnt want to read and run i had my mirena coil removed and doc told me i could try straight away but cant be sure if it would be the same for you but good luck i am sure someone on here will be able to help hang in there hun...xx

Hey hun - mmmm think you need an appointment with your docs.... in the meantime...

Weight loss, depends how much weight you want to loss doesnt it? If you are trying to lose a lot of weight and trying to conceive then you really must seek advice from your doctor and get your blood pressure checked. Have a look at the other threads as there was something written about this previously.

Coil - I lost tonnes of weight when I had my coild removed but it was the marina not the copper.

People on average ovulate around apprx day 14 of their cycle (I ovulate anywhere from day 6 onwards).
A period starts apprx 14 days after ovulation (last month it was approx 17 days after I ovulated that I had my period) so you see everyone is different. So lots of questions... what frequency are your cycles, do you know when you ovulate?

Just some food for thought but be careful what you read on the internet as its subject to opinion, interpretation and personal experience.

Good luck with your weight loss, but find out more information before you get down hearted hun this is only the beginning hey xxx

im just scared i have never tryed for a baby before and it tends to be when you want one you cnt concive...but when your not trying you do :-(

I don't think you should be aiming for a healthy weight if you are just a little bit overweight.

I mean, if you are very overweight try eating more sensibly and walking more but i know really very overweight people that have got pregnant without issue.

I kind of feel that the stress and frustration associated with trying to lose weight might impact your chances of trying to conceive the same if not more than you actually being overweight.

I'm not too sure about the coil - but i googled and found a person at the top of the list that claimed to have have the copper coil removed in July (don't know what year) and she was pregnant at the end of August/early September.

I think you just have to go for it and see what happens :)

I am trying for the first time this month too and i actually preferred my blissful ignorance - i am becoming too informed of the perils ;)

well your in the exact same boat as me by the llooks of your sig lol!! so fingers crossed for the lous!!

I had the cooper coil removed last November and fell pregnant in December. But i lost the baby through the type of work i do, So yeah you can concieve almost straight away as you are not protected from the time it is removed.

Good luck TTC :)
