As it is coming up to Christmas and all Jackson seems to play with talk about is shapes I thought Id best get some more for xmas.

He currently has loads of shape sorters but just removes the shapes and plays with them. I hoped to get him solid shapes but also something more fun?

He has like wee arks with animals and shapes but again focusing only on the shapes. I feel hes too old for the sorters as he can do them in seconds but uses the toys as like figures? Theyr all Mr's, Mr Square, Mr Circle..

I have had a look on the sensory websites but I feel its not suited because its basic learning toys were as Im looking for an actual toy that does more than just be a shape.

My mum just moved and my dad was sorting the carpets whilst watching Jackson and cut him out big shapes from the underlay and he has not let go in a full day they went into nursery with him

Carpet under lay ffs!! anyone know any decent shape toys?

All suggestions welcome..

Mellissa and doug do a great range of toys for lots of different ages. I used to get mine from eBay but amazon may do some as well. They do like giant cardboard blocks. Games where you make pictures out of shapes like fish and elephants and things They also do big block sets geometric shape stackers etc.
