Please any advice would be great! Just been to the loo because I felt quite wet downstairs (sorry tmi!) and when I wiped there was brown stuff on the tissue?! Like when your finished the time of the month, has anyone else had this? I'm not sore or anything else but really scared incase something is going to happen and I loose the baby and to make it worse I had a phone call to give me my scan date. Mum is a the house with me and she keeps playing it down saying it'll be fine leave it ten minutes before you do anything! Just want to cry I'm so scared right now:0(

didnt want to read a run hun! i havent had this however sum of the other girls have mentioned a few things like an simular to this on many other threads and been ok, if it continues throughout the morning, call the midwife or your doc, they will probably tell you to come in?hope all goes well.

I had slight spotting with my LO, i was kept in hospital for a few days but everything was fine, hes now a 2yr old little monkey!

If it get worse hun, go and see your gp just to be on the safe side. Hope everything is ok hun, keep us posted :hugs: x x

ive had this, it only lasted about a day and was told it was more than likely a sign of pregnany...it can be quite common, there are lots of websites online, i can copy and paste a few if you like so you can read them for peace of mind? if you are really worried or it becomes quite heavy or carries on a while then i would see a doctor. xx

That would be great if you could copy and paste those things on for me. Thanks for your replies. Couldn't wait any longer so I phoned the midwife over here and she phoned me straight back explained what had happened and she said so long as it's not red blood and I'm not getting severe cramps everything should be ok could be implantation or just because this is when my period should have been it's quite common for the brown coloured stuff to pass through instead! Sorry head is away with the fairies because I'm worried, any slight twinge and I think I'm loosing my baby. Will keep you all updated and keep checking for any other signs. Xx

It's fairly common unfortunately hun :( I had a slight brown spotting at around 5 weeks and 8 weeks and everything was fine :)

Hey, sounds like all good advice on here and also midwife has reassured - just wanted to send you hugs and say put your feet up and let your Mum give you a bit of pampering xxx

I agree with what others have said plusmidwife isn't worried so thats good. Its norma lto worry babe. Hope you can relax for the rest of the day.

Agreed sounds like implantation. I asumed my implantation bleed was a period! Very silly of me :( I'd been spotting for a couple of weeks prior to a much larger amount. Then I did some research, rang my mum and decided to do a test. As i wasn't charting and I'd not had an AF since coming of the pill i had no idea when anything was likely to happen.

Try and relax :) its all normal. Do you have an iphone? There are some pretty good apps on there

Well update tonight is that the brown stuff (tmi) seemed to have died away for a bit this afternoon so thought things were fine until I went to the bathroom tonight and there was more and it was on my pants this time and more a dark red than brown so I got on the phone to NHS24 and the nurse phoned me back sat chatting about everything and she thinks it's implantation bleeding but got the Ayrshire midwife on call to phone me. She phoned at ten o'clock to ight and was just lovely and went more in depth with everything I was experiencing. She thinks it's implantation too, but has asked me to phone her back at twelve tonight to let her know that I am okay or if anything has changed. But either way she wants to know I'm fine. Came up to the loo before bed five minutes ago and there was a little bit of red blood although not very much mixed through with the brown stuff when I wiped?!:0( I'm so terrified and my oh is away at work on an oil rig for two weeks and is beside himself tonight. He has Ayer it down all day today but tonight he has been phoning over and over and has spent all night on the web Reading up on everything he can find:0( he feels so helpless out there and not here with me. Just want to cry but don't want to let anything on to my seven year old daughter as she is Soooo excited about our baby growing inside me. Going to have a look at the links you put up for me just now and just want to say thank you and tell you how touched I am with all your good wishes. :0(xxxxxx

Sending u massive :hugs: hun, i know its hard but try and keep positive, if the midwife is saying that its implantation thats a good thing, keep us posted x x

sweetie how are things this morning? I truly hope things are quieter for you? Awful that your partner is stuck on the rig but he sounds so supportive, even from a distance. Thinking of you, waiting on your update and sending you the biggest hugs ever xxx:hugs::hugs:

Quick update. Didnb sleep well last night have period like bleeding this morning and have been asked to head to the mainland maternity hospital. Dad has brought me over first boat this morning and driving up there for my appointment at 10:10 this morning, things aren't looking good:0( will update when I know anything but I don't feel positive about anything today. Thanks everyone for being there. Xxx
