I don't think it can hinder; I don't know if it's beneficial either. I run and go on the crosstrainer. I also do crunches but stop these in the tww (although I've heard it's safe in very early pregnancy I'd rather not myself)
Keeping fit is good for you once your pregnant as well so as long as you're not doing anything silly it can't do any harm
Donna, I read about swimming. Basically chlorine and other bacteria gets inside. So vagina is going to fight that bacteria. CM will be even more acidic which is not good for sperm.
Its not like I would not go swimming at all. I would avoid during fertile days x
