If you pushed yes I guess but it would be worse to do that anyway as the wait for IUI is 16 and the wait for IVF is 24 to 29 months. Ive already waited 16 months and the wait is unbearable so at least I may as well get IUI while I wait. Means I have a shot at a BFP. As I had said the IUI wait of 16 is then included in the 24 months you dont start again at 0 after IUI! Well god thats what she did say!

I think the IUI is a good idea. Apparently only a few thousand sperm cells naturally make it to the area where the IUI deposits all the millions of sperm cells that would have otherwise died along the route.

I don't really understand why IUI has such a low success rate but at least it's a shot a BFP, better than nothing

I kinda figure if there's nothing wrong with either me or OH, I have kinda the best chance at IUI, it may be that somehow we're just not getting the timing right, and IUI at least pretty much guarantees that a. you will OV, and b. the swimmers are in the right place at the right time.

Of course it could be that there's a hidden problem, that they just haven't found yet...... but I try not to think about that. After three years of TTC I just want SOMETHING to be straightforward.

Im the same Skeando I actually just need to ovulate hopefully.Ive had 3 shots of the menopur before and it made my follicles grow. They would only give me 3 due to that department not being authorised to give more. IUI is more menopur so Im hoping it works and the insemination makes it even better.

I got a BFP the first month I used my cbfm so technically the first time I timed bd at exactly ovulation time so Im hoping that this is a positive that we can get pregnant. Just my body has shut down due to the m/c they think. So Im happy to try IUI too!!

That is disgusting, I cant believe how long you ladies are being made to wait for a bloody letter let alone treatment, I know the NHS is strained but that is just a joke!!

Hope you girls can find things to help occupy yourselfs while you wait ... maybe a cheeky holiday

This is outrageous surely?! How can they mess with people's heads so much?! I didn't realise it was like this in Scotland! I feel for you Laurat, nowhere near as bad as where u are just now but it looks like I don't ov and it's so frustrating just not being able to ttc with any hope that uv got a chance. Hope the next few months fly by for u x
