girls, i need your opinions!

wasn't sure where to post my dilemma to get as many opinions on it as possible, so i posted it in "working during pregnancy" and now i'm posting here to ask you girls to please take a look!

in summary, i'm not sure whether to take the risk and go freelance after my mat leave...

Well i've kinda been in your situation. My DH is a web designer and he is self taught. At first he did freelance work from home to build up his portfolio and IT IS STRESSFUL. it's quite hard to get jobs and when you do sometimes it is hard to get the money off people. plus they think they own you and bother you for ages even after the work is complete.

basically if you want to do freelance i would wait until your baby is a bit older because that is stress you could probably do without at first.

Freelance is good when you can get the work and attract decent clients but i would say it is hard work and sometimes you end up putting more hours in than you would at a normal job.
