So my mum bread her dog and made Sproodles or Springerdoodles, anyway I was advertising them for her with some super cute pictures and this lass started on at me calling them mongrels and that no one would pay that price (£600) There mixed bread with two KC parents and six generation history, so there not exactly some mongrel that people don't know there history.
And my mums friend sells Cockerpoos at £750 each and adviced my mum on the price. the reason they bread springers and poodles is because poodles are hyper allergenic so don't moult as much. She was really nasty about it though and I was like -- im not forcing people to buy one just advertising if they don't want one then don't buy one? Some people are so rude.

Anyway pathetic but I couldn't help but be shocked and annoyed... I replyed really nicely though --

To cheer me up here is the picture (I took it)

Just ignore her. Some people are Sooo rude

Xx

Mummy to my beautiful girl born 9/8/13

Tar there is only one boy left now so obviously she didn't have a clue. But even if I was advertising them at a stupid price why try have a go at me over it just laugh and move on :S

There soooo soft bathed them today as four went and they where so fluffy. One couple are traveling from near London for one when ther LO has got settled at school (we assume boarding school) so it doesn't seem like there replacing him. With petrol on top Christ knows how much it will end up costing them. But they fell in love with the picture. x

Just one more because who doesn't like a puppy picture :) x

You've bred to F1 dogs which is Pedigree to Pedigree - These are classes as Muts / Mongrels so these people are not wrong. Does'nt matter if the two you have put together are KC BIS its still classes as cross breeding. Having their history does not make them a Pedigree. A full bred type to a full breed makes them a "Registered" Pedigree. If you bred 2 street dogs together but knew of their generations thats does not make them pedigree. Same with yours I'm affraid.

Being in the dog world I would recommend that you do not advertise these dogs as Hypoallergenic or non moult. With a Springer Crosses with a Poodle you will get a moulting dog & there is no guarantee - Poodles coats are like wool & will drop out & hold dust etc. Thats no hypoallergenic - No such thing Sorry.

People that are critics are probably like myself, work & live the dog sector & trying to stop pupping farms, inbreeding, cross breeding so on.

This is not a dig at you, just a point from the other side.

Was going to say the same, again not a dig but very true - sorry.
I'm really uncomfortable with breeding when there are sooo many animals in shelters and rescues, many being out down every day.
Just my personal opinion, no offence x

Omg they are the cutest things ever!!!! I'd have one (or all) any day. Just ignore her. I don't understand why people feel the need to be rude like that. What's the saying "if you've nothing nice to say, don't say anything!" xx

I agree with these.

Not saying that they arn't cute but they are still x breed mongrels not sproodles or whatever name you want to give them.

Again my personal opinion.

Yup they're mongrels but super cute and mongrels are the best kind anyways! Ignore the stupid people xx

Using Tapatalk so can't see siggies!

Doesn't matter what people want to label them as, they're so cute :) I want I want I want! Ignore the people that just want to wind you up! Xxx

tapatalking x

Gah they are lovely!
I do agree that I have issues with the 'designer mongrels' fad thats happening just now but I have an issue with aaaallll breeding. Why pay hundreds for a dog when shelters are overflowing with fabulous dogs needing homes?

BUT you're only advertising and hardly forcing the dogs on people so she should have just overlooked your ad and moved on. She was clearly just spoiling for a fight xx

I know there mongrals technically, but labradoodles have there own calendar so they don't see the same, I agree to some extent about breeding but you find its normally the over bread dogs for a quick buck that tend to end up in shelters but normally £600 dogs are sold to a new home, one of the reasons my mum wont sell cheap. dogs are expensive to bring up so it puts people off who would just buy one on a whim without thinking about vets bills etc.

I was more annoyed that it was how rude she was about it, I mean im not holding a gun to peoples heads!

Personally I would have had a rescue dog but wanted a puppy because I had babies and wanted him to grow up around babies, also the breed was a big issue for me and I wanted to know what breed the dog was and most dogs I saw they didn't know the cross, I know its owner vs nature and it was probably me been ott but if it settles me to have a 'soft' breed then id rather be paranoid than worry about it later ifykwim.

Thanks for the comments ladies you are right with what you say but there is a nice way to put it -- no where on the add did I say they where a breed I said there sproodles springer cross poodle.

TBH my mum copied her advert from the breeders, they call the dog hyperallegenic on a lot of sites so just put it, but people will know dust and some fur is expected with any animal with a fur coat hopefully.

There is only one little boy left that my mum and dad don't mind keeping if needed so shows they weren't out with there price. There where some advertised for £550 but the pictures where minging and looked so scruffy, I felt like messaging the guy offering to take some pictures lol x

I've got a wee mongrel puppy just now and I kinda like the excitement of not knowing what kinda cross she is. It's a like a mini mystery till she gets bigger lmao.
See I know for an absolute fact that that if one of my dogs had puppies, I couldn't part with them. I would end up like some mad dog lady ha ha. I mean, I have 5 cats cause I didn't get mummy and daddy neutered in time!
Did you take one of the pups? X

I would have to agree to disagree im afraid. I work through shelters & you would be surprised on how some of these dogs get there.

A few things I've been asked.

"My puppy keeps pee'ing on my rug & i don't want him anymore but I;ve paid £1000 for this designer dog, do you buy to sell on?! " No!

"I bought a Miniature 10KG malamute, hes now 50Kg, Can you have him?"

Theres not always overbred, fighting, xbreeds in shelters - We've been freely handed pupies from champions worth thousands from people with lots of money.

Most dogs coming through shelters now are Oodle type of some sort, Strangely the Staffy, Pitbull type is wearing off.

This is a battle that any shelter worker, field worker will never win. There will always be someone breeding something of some sort.

I have nothing against you at all please dont feel like a target. These "Desinger" dogs all started becuase of the Labradoodle. They wanted Guide/Assistance dogs that peoples allergies where less reactive too. Because the poodle coat is hair & not fur study had show that people with allergy's to fur reacted less. So they bred the trusted Labrador with the poodle to create the coat, But it had taken many generations & not just Lab X Poodle to create the Labradoodle. Which in study then ended in a flop due to nature of poodles.

Then Oodles where born - Labradoodle, Springerdoodle, Cockerpoo, Cavapoo, Poochi, which then travelled around breeds to Cavashon, Pooshons, Jugs, Bullshit, Lhapooshon, so on - Its endless.

Then it was noted that the Gun dog world were trying to breed better working dogs so mixed them. Sprockers, Springerdors etc

Its a huge cycle which will go on for years.

This

I worked in a pet shop when a chap came in with a harlequin Great Dane puppy that he'd picked up from a rescue they are about £1000.00

Just because they are expensive doesnt mean people do research into what they are getting.
