So pleased to hear that you managed a home birth. Tbh, I will opt for one if I am blessed enough to have another child as for me the most stressful experience during labour was going to the birthing centre and checking in...

Feeding is going great. He was rooting almost from the moment he arrived and was on my boob within about 20 minutes feeding well. Milk is coming through now and he latches and fills up no problem Nipples are fine and it doesn't hurt often (and when it does I take him off and try again).

What a great story! I am really really pleased you showed those registrars that it could be done It sounds like a really lovely experience! I think you're pretty amazing for getting through it with very little pain relief too!
