fruit drinks

is Braydon allowed fruit drinks (think there called smoothes never had one before lol) that u like make urself?
if so wot is a nice one to make

YEAH hun, he'll love them!!!
Just make them with his usual milk, put a cup full of milk in a blender, a bit of fruit, ie bananna, straws, rasps, maybe a yoghurt and a teaspoon of honey now he is over 1!!!!!!!!!
They are lovely, we have smoothies all the time in our house

I'm a smoothie addict.

You can add a few oats or yoghurt and stuff too...Brody had frozen smoothies as ice lollies in the summer.

will they be ok for his beaker?

I personally would put them in a cup as they are quite thick. Seren loves smoothies, especially banaba, apple, kiwi and strawberry - mmmmm

Yeah a homemade one would probably clog up the beaker unless you blended it it loads.

mmm i uesd to do banana, strawberry and a smidge of pure apple juice and milk. were really yummy and you can make loads and freeze it in beakers with lids.

really fancy one now!

if I were you I'd just double check with your hv about honey.

Just before Lydia turned 1 I took her to be weighed and said to the health visitor/midwife woman whether Lydia could have honey when she was 1 (fully expecting her to say yes), and she was like "no, you'd better not give her honey until she's 2".

So I was like I thought after 1 it was okay, so she told me that recently the guidelines for honey have been changed as a lot of kids between 1 and 2 have been getting botulism from it.

So now they reckon it's safer to wait until 2.

So I'd just check if I were you before giving it to B.
