What a bugger eh, I hate needles, I'm such a wuss and I'm actually going to ASK for them lol. I'll have to pop in on Monday morning. I don't want them to phone with the results, I'd rather get them from the docs myself as if it's BFP, I want to surprise hubby, if BFN well...he'll never know I guess. :( x x

Don't worry Hun,

You'll be fine, it doesn't hurt at all.

I had my CD21 bloods yesterday as I missed it last month because my cycle went weird and short, I'm still not sure if I've actually OVd yet though, I was honest with her about this and she said she's do me another test on CD28 and also on CD34 just in case.

She also said that seen as I have had a lot of tests then it makes sense for Hubby to as well which was nice of her as she knew it had only been 6 months of trying.

Hi Hun,

Usually the Nurse does the bloods but if you feel you want to discuss things with a Doctor then they can also take blood for you.

Have you been to the docs for any tests as yet, you've had the PCOS haven't you or was that just the ultrasound?

You may want to discuss options if you don't end up preggers (although I think you will!) like having CD1 bloods, LH, FSH and another one I can't remember and then you have tests for Progesterone after you OV, that's the CD21 test but you have it 9 days after you OV so that wouldn't be CD21 for me and you with longer cycles it would be more like CD34.

If you've not already had discussions about TTC make sure you blag you've been trying for nearly a year as they will do a lot more for you.

Yeah that's right we went to the doc as I had a UTI and they asked about whether I could be preggers and I told them it was possible but as I'm irregular I don't have a clue. They asked how irregular I was etc and booked me in for a scan on my ovaries etc and bloodworks. Everything came back clear. If I do the blood test and it comes back negative, I'll get on at them about what I can do to make TTC easier cos I don't think I can keep putting myself and hubby through this every 50-60-70 however many days my cycle decides to be! I think you should definately go on Monday - dont tell DH (not to be sneaky but if its a surprise good news....) Oh and as you are scared of the bloods - I think that nurses are WAY more experienced than doctors at this and you will not feel the pain!! If you think about it, nurses do this kinda thing all day every day and they seem to care more than doctors.....just an opinion but if I was you I'd get the nurse to do the bloods and then get results from doctor when you can discuss the results! At least you will know where you stand at the end of the week....
 
Thanks hun. I feel a bit weird going on my own but if it's negative, I'd rather deal with it on my own really. But if it's positive ( :pray: :pray: ) I've got my own way I'm going to tell him. :p x x

deffo get to the doctors asap - i couldn't bare the waiting!! like i said earlier i have had one evap line on a FR i looked at it hours and hours later but i've done loads and loads and loads of FR tests over the months and never had one before or since so i think its looking good for you! have you tried a clearblue digi? xx

Positivity - Thanks hun, my hubby thinks my oldest FR is almost a week old and it's the one with the darker line so I reckon it must be an evap. Oh well, blood tests will reveal all! So hoping it's good news! Nope, not done one yet, did one waaaay at the beginning of my cycle (stupid waste eh?) but not since then. Think I'll scrap the HPTs and go for the blood test which would be more reliable. :) x x
 
Go to the docs for sure! Having to wait is unbearable for you and that is stressful and stress is no good for you or your bfp - I make good points, no? ;)

Lol thanks hun. I'm going to try and pop into the docs tomorrow if possible, at least then my hubby is at work and it's less pressure. I'm away on Friday so hoping they will only need to do one blood test but no idea. x x

Well I had stretchy CM on the 14th/17th/24th and possibly another day or something in October. About a week or 2 ago had 3-4 days of what I think might've been implantation.

Nothing since! Got white CM though??

Hopefully will be able to get in tomorrow and see the nurse and tell her everything. Hopefully will find out some answers this week! Eeeeeeek!! x x

Thanks hun. I thought since I had the stretchy CM I was OVing but not sure what happened lol.

I'd love to know what's happening before Xmas as then I'd know whether I can drink however much I want or if I have to limit myself lol! x x x
