flu jab

I had the flu jab today. My midwife said they always advise getting it to pregnant women at this time of year so off i went to the doctor.....

The things is - the doctor who did the jab gave me the needle and then afterwards said 'you dont have any flu symptoms do you?, because you should only have the jab if you dont already have flu'

Stupid woman should have asked me this before jabbing me surely? lol. As i actually have had the flu and im still getting over it. I wonder if ill get ill now? x

Oh, I dont know if you will still get ill - surely that would have been a thing to ask beforehand!
I didnt get asked that at all.
Felt fine afterwards, then about a week after, got quite ill, but was like a 'fast-track' flu, lol - it was gone in about 4 days, and wasnt as bad as everyone else - dont know if that was because of the jab, or all in my head!

Yeah she definitely should have checked - at work they won't let you have it if you've got any cold or flu symptoms....not sure why though. x
