Eww thank goodness I haven't been that bad.

Just discovered today though that I can't go into the supermarket without feeling sick. Been to ASDA and felt really ill on the way home because of seeing all the food and the smells :puke:

wasnt sick till 9 weeks lmao and today well think it was more indestion thing , cos i had no real warning just the gripping pain from indestion and the feeling i needed to burp but i get that alot and today proved why ive been scared of burping lmao

now im gonna worry tomorrow when i have lunch :wall: must stay parked up to eat :rotfl: with window open :rotfl:

Evening everyone

Got my first docs appointment tomorrow - quite excited about finding what happens when (get to see midwife etc) but nervous because I still haven't been sick or had any of the other symptons you all describe. Also I am very overweight and am worried that will get told off. I have lost a stone since Christmas and was hoping to lose another stone before this Christmas (which would still leave me overweight but halfway to what I wanted to lose) but then last Wednesdays BFP happened.

Evening

Don't feel nervous about the doctor they really don't do anything apart from tell you what to avoid and what to take - well that's all mine did. You will be fine I'm sure and it is exciting because once you see your doc you know your next app will be with midwife

I've got my first midwife app tomorrow, she is coming to the house, which they didn't last time, so am gonna have to do a mad clean in the morning. Looking forward to getting all the info and my notes :cheer:

Hi fifi

It must be so nice to have been through it before and know what to expect  what time is she coming around? Is the first appointment just a chat?

I can't wait until midwife appointment. Although I won't get it at weeks as I'm 6 weeks now and next Saturday (as in a week and a bit away) we're going on a driving holiday down to northern Italy for two weeks so when I get back I will be 9 - 10 weeks. I guess that will also mean my scan will probably be late too. Big sigh!!!

i went to the doctors yesterday and thought he'd just say ok, now go away and wait until 8 weeks to see the midwife,

but he actually did my weight height and listened to my breathing, then said go and make an appointment with the midwife, so i went back out and said i'm nearly 5 weeks i'd like to book in with the midwife and i've got an appointment in 2 weeks!! I'm quite excited now. Its making it all seem real, i don't have any symptoms either, so i still don't quite believe it

yay finally got my 12 week scan date, 5th sept!!! cant wait!

Having a good week, no signs of being pregnant, dont feel as tired, and work is good.

Also i'm reading all the harry potter books before i give birth, and im on the 2nd one

:cheer: how fab Sophie!! I know what you mean about making it feel real - I don't think it will feel real until the scan. Is the appointment with the midwife at the surgery or at your home?

The appointment is at the surgery, my oh says he doesn't think it will sink in until he sees baby on the screen, he keeps looking at the hpt just to make sure, bless him

I have put on a layer of fat around my waist though, put on my work trousers and they kept digging in to my stomach when i sat down it was really uncomfortable, and i can't even tell anyone yet GRRRRRRR.

Its a pain you will have to wait for so long CB23 but at least you will have something to look forward to when you get back

CB23 - I have been through it before but things have changed even since then! She is coming between 1-2 tomorrow. I think it will mainly be medical history etc and bloods, my little boy will be here and he is terrified of needles and blood so I hope he doesn't freak out too much :?

I am so jealous, your holiday sounds fab, I would love to do that, we haven't had a holiday since our honeymoon and that was 6 years ago!

Paradysso - That is not long to wait for your scan, I bet you are really excited :D

Sophie1102 - I know how your OH feels, because I feel a bit like that myself, even though I feel like complete poo.

CB23...good luck with the doctors appointment, mine didn't say anything to me and I'm still about 2 and half stone overweight  It was quite funny because I told him I was pregnant and he was sat there with a blank expression trying to figure out if it was a good or bad thing :rotfl:

My neice has gone home from hospital this afternoon. They are going to give her a more detailed scan next week to check the size of the baby. If they don't think it's growing properly they will have to deliver him (she knows it's a boy) next Friday when she's 24 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed for her   She's going to find out if she can start her maternity leave now so she can relax as a bit.

Sophie..sounds like you have a really good doctor, I don't think many go to all that trouble, lazy gits

Paradysso..I got the first Harry Potter book out of the library today, thought it was about time I found out what all the hype is about :D Reading His Dark Materials at the moment. Don't normally go for books for teenagers
