first tri chat ........

morning  , i did n gettold off for being iver weight , just marked on my notes tht my bmi was 35 , and infact i get an extra scan at 34 weeks lol even tho my bmi is now too 33 and under the high risk :rotfl:

Morning girls :D

I didn't sleep very well last night, finding it hard to get comfy in bed and I wake up for a wee half way through the night.

Dreaming loads as well, don't usually remember my dreams. Last night I dreamt that OH was hoovering the cat! Probably cos I spent ages yesterday sweeping up cat hair

How lucky getting an extra scan Gem :cheer: :cheer: Will be a really good one at 34 weeks too

Oh yeah, tell me about it. Lately sleep has been such an issue. I just toss and turn and sigh and wiggle (I have ADD to begin with) because I am so bored and restless. It drives Emiel up the wall, but luckily I'm apparently cute about it, so I'm safe.

I have had nasty nightmares lately.

Morning, I'm working at home today so can log on (too scared to log on at work, figured it would be a bit of a giveaway!)

Muppetmummy fingers crossed for your neice.

Gem I think my bmi is about 31 but I am putting on weight (although that could be all on my boobs which are so swollen). So that means hopefully that I won't be as high risk as I fear. The reason I'm pregnant is that I went to the family planning clinic and had to see the doc for the pill because of my BMI being over 30. She had a young male trainee doctor in with her and she was so nasty to me about my weight and it was so humilitating I ended up in tears and left without getting my tablets and have never been back so not been on the pill. The nurses were horrified as I left and were saying she can just be abrupt and trying to comfort me - I guess they were worried I would make a complaint.

Last night was the first night in over a week that i have not needed to get up and go for a wee yay!!!!

YAY I lasted until about 6am. How come you end up needing to wee so much? I can understand it when you're heavily pregnant and baby is on bladder but why when you're only a few weeks gone?

CB23, your doctor sounds horrible  How can she think she's helping people to lose weight by having a go at them. If she did that to me I'd just want to hide under the duvet with a packet of biscuits for comfort :x

I don't know why you wee more in the early stages, I can't imagine there's much pressure on the bladder at the moment.

Morning all

Sorry some of you have had a bad night  I know what you mean about having to get up in the middle of the night for a wee, I don't even open my eyes when I go.

CB23 - I would have made a complaint about that doctor, they have no right to make you feel like that. I had a similar thing after I had given birth. I went for my 6 week check and the nurse said I had put too much weight on when pg, then as I was leaving another nurse came in with a cake for her and she said 'ooh hide that from her!'. I cried my eyes out after.

Midwife is coming this morning, and I am trying to tidy up so the house looks presentable and Jamie is literally wreaking each room as I am tidying :wall:

Wow, how can people be so tactless??? That;s terrible. I have no idea how I would have responded to such comments... Would've broke down in tears right then, no doubt.

The way I look at it I'd rather be me and friendly and happy with my life than a thinner bitter shrew like her so I'm better off than she is. Judging from the nurses reaction it wasn't just that I'd caught her on a bad day. And without her nastiness I'd still be on the pill and not be 6 weeks pregnant :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

That's awful Fifi. Its the way you can't forget about it and feel so awful afterwards, two of them to do it to you is just bullying :(

then as I was leaving another nurse came in with a cake for her and she said 'ooh hide that from her!'. I cried my eyes out after.

OMG!! That is so nasty and so unprofessional!! Why do such horrible people end up working in the care profession?!

Good luck with the midwife Fifi :D

It did kick start me into losing weight mind, but not in a healthy way. Now I have a fear of getting weighed by docs or anything now though and wouldn't even go to get the pill after that. So am panicking a bit today about being weighed even though I am quite happy with myself and most my clothes are a size 12 :wall:

Gosh Fifi a size 12 is fine - that is smaller than average and you certainly have nothing to worry about! Try not to worry too much.

Just dropped James off at school half hour ago. He still loves it and is more than happy to go :cheer: :cheer: He's already asking how old he has to be to walk there on his own! 8 at the very least I think!

Got a couple of hours now to clean the bedrooms. It's a lovely sunny day today so James will want to go outside to play after school. I think he's too young to play outside without adult supervision, even though a lot of younger kids in the street do  I normally sit in the garden so I can spy on him

cos at mo baby is sharing the space in your pelvis with your bladder ! u wait till 10 - 12 weeks , before baby is popped out of pelvis , i get up 2/ 3 times a night lol

I'm the same G3m and me getting up sparks the dog into thinking it's time for a walk

ive never been great anyway so poor millie use to my midnight walking to the loo !

I wish harley was but she thinks it's time to play and calls to me lol

I have managed to get away with midnight trips to the loo until this week, very annoying as I can usually sleep all night. Also I get very paranoid that I am dreaming and really still in bed not on the loo at all - I'm terrified of wetting the bed!!
Think I may be regressing or something...something else to worry about!
