First time OPK

Bit of OPK confusion!
We've been trying for 6 months, I have pcos but regular periods. Got some Ovulation test sticks to see if it's even happening. Got 2 clear lines yesterday evening, so DTD last night and this morning... Just now I've had a bright red spot when wiping (sorry!) Which I don't know whether to worry about or not.
Mixed feelings really, part of me hoped I wasn't ovulating so I could know what's wrong! But I'm pleased coz it confirms that the cramps I always get around Ov time do indeed coincide with ovulation (if I can trust the opk).
Has anybody had success with opk's in general and with pcos? I heard you can get false positives. Getting so impatient now!

Hi honey, what is the sensitivity of the opk sticks you're using? The blood could be from ovulation. Sometimes if the ovum bursts out it can cause a little blood.

Ooh I've no idea! They're just Boots own pack of 5 sticks.
