~February & March Mummies and Babies~

I don't go back til April, when tess will be 1. I'd love to keep a morning and night feed going but I remember how hectic it was getting into work with 1 child, let alone 2! Ah well, she might have decided enough by then anyway.
I have had 2 regular as clockwork periods, almost to the hour.
I'm not sure what you mean but could you do some opk's in the background? I can still tell I ovulate on day 16!!!

Well I kind of got the job! It's a bowling club so there's hardly any shifts, maybe one or two until February but after that it will be regular. They've said I'm free to get something else in the meantime obviously.

Yeh as use weather gets a bit better they can bowl better and there should be more functions hopefully!

I've had a very long day, I apologise for the long post but bear with me as my life seems to have turned into a sort of surreal comedy sketch

Firstly we went to sing and sign this morning where ruby spent the entire hour either trying to lick or kiss one particular boy or trying to eat another girls shoes, try explaining to a room full of judgemental mums y your 8month old has a shoes fetish!

Secondly we tried to go to the library, ruby pooed as soon as we got there its a massive building and the only baby change was the other end of the building so it took a fair few mins to get there by which time there was leakage (lush!) it was occupied so we waited for 5ish mins untill ruby started to cry so I had no choice but to change her there in the corridor. Matt out, nappy off, poo everywhere, I pick her up and she wee's. awesome. I clean up the poo and get the poey clothes off and as I'm reaching for a clean nappy she makes a break for it. Bloody hell can that girl move! (Excuse my French) so there's me chasing a squeeling naked baby through the leisure centre corridor. Mortified! It's not untill I eventually catch her and get her clean and dressed I notice the wee patch on my light coloured jeggings, even more awesome.

After that I gave up on the library and went to feed ruby in bthe cafe, chunky veg in cheese sauce (spoon fed) about half way through I took my eye of the ball, she grabbed the spoon and catapulted the chunky veg and cheese sauce at my face and it landed on my forehead and in my hair, even more awesome. and it was obviously hilarious to her so she kept trying to do it again. I then had to wait with cheesy hair and wee patch in the middle of town for an hour as oh forgot he had to pick us up.

So after a very long day I was really glad to get home, feed the small one and put her to bed. I started doing the housework, washing on, washing up done, I was putting the rubbish and recycling out and next door stopped to say hello, he tried to ask how ruby was but kept making weird looks at me, he quickly said goodnight and went inside, straight away his wife came out to say hello, laughed and went back inside. That's enough to make anyone conscientious so I retreated to the kitchen. I was finishing up some washing up and I happened to lookup into the window where I saw my reflection. I have bloches of toothpaste ALL over my face (I've broken out in spots and put it on like a deep cleanser when they get really bad)

I will never live this day down!

Oh kat, I'm not even going to apologize.... I'm in hysterics here!!!

Thank you so much for that x

I thought Today would put a smile on your faces, and I'd laugh if it was anybody else!

It would be really sad. I will keep coming here and nattering away, if only to myself! ha.

It is crazy to think that we have been chattering away for 18-ish months since those positive tests and maybe a bit before for those who were ttc on here.

Talulahgosh if someone would have told me that's how i would see in my pregnancy & the first 8 months of O's life I would have told them to wise up. :)
Question, has anyone's babies done a bit of a hunger strike with meals? O is grand with breakfast but hasn't got much care for lunch or tea over the last few days. I'm trying not to worry but it's hard.

Could O be teething? Effie goes off good when one is about to pop through? It worried me at first but it's completely normal, albeit upsetting when it goes in the bin!!!

He's teethes on & off but has never cut a tooth so I'm a bit clueless as to what he would do. I just have this thing about him being hungry, hate the thought of it.
