~February & March Mummies and Babies~

O is the same. I could spend 30-45 mins resettling him in the cot. If I bring him in with me he's asleep in minutes & he keeps me warm on these cold nights!

Got a long day ahead tomorrow! Taking my Gran through to my sisters as it's her birthday... two two year old wild twins and a crazy 9 month old.. yay! Not.

Then bringing Gran back home, dropping Spencer with my friend then off for a job interview at 6pm!

Just got in to bed so I pray Spencer sleeps.

Have a good night girls x

Ooh, good luck with the job interview, Clairey. What's it for? I should find out this week if I've got an interview for that promotion I mentioned. If so it'll be next week. I'm looking forward to getting it over and done with seeing as I'm ambivalent about whether I get the job or not.

Claire - I totally get what you mean. I was much stricter with lily than I am jack. Unfortunately nothing gets jack back to sleep except time, if he wakes cos otherwise I'd be doing whatever it takes to get him back to sleep at 3 or 5 am! Because nothing works I have to play about with his routine instead, or resign myself to 2 hours of night wakings if he wakes at 3ish. On the plus side, at least I don't have a prop to wean! But I wish I did sometimes!

Another shocker of a night. O woke at 2.30am & tossed & turned for most of the night after. I don't know what's going on.

I think it's a leap thing as Ruby's been doing this for about a week now, last night she woke at about 4am and only went back to sleep for about half an hour before i went and got her at 7!

Harry pooed in his sleep at 3am?! How do they do that?? Took him 2hrs to fall asleep again. I haven't been this tired since the newborn days! I have such a bad headache (had it yesterday) that I can't look at the screen properly!! Ibruprofen is my friend today! :)

They're really close in age too, aren't they Kat? Hopefully it is a leap thing because it's kicking my arse.

Yep hopes definitely a leap or something, I remember S going through a stage of waking at 4.30 every morning around that age xxx

Yes hopes, ruby was born on the 24th so there's only a couple of days between them! I didn't sleep at all last night I kept waking worried she was going to climb out her cot, luckily she snores really loud just like her dad so at least I could worry from my warm bed!

Claire I hope u can kick that headaches ass, illness when looking after lo's is just cruel!

We don't have one, but in Tess's room we have a king sized mattress on the floor, where if Emma woke, one of us would sleep with her there when she was younger.

Nowadays she can climb on anything so we just use our bed and Tess doesn't like sleeping with us (well she does, but she expects boobies all night, so she isn't allowed)

I can't tell the difference.

I have this stupid fear of him falling out of the bed & breaking something. I know it's a long way off yet but I was thinking of a Montessori bed for him. I don't know. And aye, I realise he could break something a million other ways. :)

Np, frozen grapes aren't crunchy, they are still kind of soft just frozen. It is weird, but good.

Hopes - pool noodles under the fitted sheet around the edge of the bed, they are enough of a barrier for E but he isn't adventurous yet!

Also, I live in Asia and floor beds are very common, I haven't thought ahead yet but chances are E ends up with a floor bed.

Hopes Jack's has a toddler bed thats low to the floor. If he fell out he's fall about 6 inches so not far enough to do any damage. He has a foam wedge as a bed guard that sits under his sheet to stop him falling out. It was a tenner from ebay. I'll take a pic later to show you. He's snoring his head off at the moment lol.

My headache has gone and my kitchen is spotless :) x

My boy enjoying his roasted veggies for lunch :) His face gets cheekier by the day!!

We're having lots of early starts and wakings in the night too and we're also mid leap. And he's currently resisting his afternoon nap as well! Can't figure him out at the moment! I'm hoping it'll end soon, when the leap does. Lily was the same at this age :(

Still going strong here Talulahgosh! Will be gutting to stop, even thinking about whether its still possible to keep feeding when I go back to work!!

When do you go back to work?

It is such a tough choice. Like I said a few days aho, we are still breastfeeding a lot, my periods have been back for months, we are ttc but I am fairly sure my cycles are anovulatory and maybe because of the breastfeeding. I have to put E before any potential baby but I want to be pregnant NOW.
