~February & March Mummies and Babies~

I cheered & then I thought "Oh God, nothing, including himself, is safe now".

Aw all your babies are so mobile! I think Spencer prefers speed over development! Commando crawling is well fast for him!

Pretty much! The past couple of days if he's crawling towards something dangerous and I shout, he looks around, shoots me a massive cheesy grin and frantically crawls faster towards it lol

I read a thing the other day that at this stage (7-9months ish) babies don't really develop at different rates that much but they choose which skills to develop first according to thier personalities so ruby and O are nosey little parkers developing crawling, climbing and moving skills first, where as Harry would be developing cognitive skills first (future Einstein maybe?) and Spencer's choosing to work on his speed (formula one driver in the making?)

I'm going down the pit lane with Spencer if that's the direction he's headed in!
O is such a curious, inquisitive kid so there must be something in it kat. He wants into everything, wants to know what everything does when he pushes it, pulls it, bangs it.

Yeah Harry defo prefers sitting and playing rather than trying to crawl. I find it fascinating how differently they all develop!

I'm currently listening to Daddy do his first ever bedtime story with Jack! The monitor is scanning beyween Jack & Harry's rooms so I get 7 seconds of viewing before it flicks to snoring Harry, Jack's rolling around all over the bed!! lol He lays still when I read lol x

Wow well done ruby!!! Such an early age!

Look at O go! He's growing so big I love him!

Well I've had a good day with S today, I felt like I had my happy smiley girl back! She has now learnt the actions to the song wind the bobbin up, and looks so proud of herself doing it! Today she was in a 12-18mo outfit :-( can't believe it! Oh, and she is such a good girl; for the last couple of weeks I have been telling her "no S that's dirty/dangerous" etc... She's been crying when I tell her no, but in the last couple of days when I tell her no she looks at me and then moves away from it :proud:

lol Jack is a wee monkey! Claire, I love hearing about the kid's development too. They all eventually end up doing everything but I find it fascinating to watch/hear which they prefer to work on first.
Well done S you smart wee cookie. :)

I really got my Christmas craft on today., none of my projects are actually finished yet. But I am getting there. I copied Kat with the ribbon wreath idea, am going to make a few different colourways. And the salt dough. And paperchains. And painted glass baubles.

I was reading this thread on my phone and it kept jumping all over, was there any more said about baby secret santa?

talulahgosh....on sunday (if nobody else is interested) i'll swap the addresses & pm everyone. :)
for anyone else that didn't read it a few pages back. we're doing a secret santa for the babies. £10 limit. no pressure to take part. its just something silly for a festive obsessive like me! :)

paper chains! how did I not think of that! thanks tallulah

Ruby does the same Hopes she has to pull everything, hit eerything, look in/behind everything, she ended up head first in her toy box earlier trying to see if there was anything interesting at the bottom lol!

Poor O. They are rotten.

Clairey, you ok?

It was just a terrible night. He didn't go down until midnight. Dylan had to sleep in our bed to try and get some sleep, Billy slept on the couch and I slept in Dylan's bed. He was up 5 times during the night so only got 1.5hours sleep.

Got friends coming for dinner tonight while Billy's working.

The place is a tip and I mean TIP!

Hopes, did o miss his last nap again last night? Could be that he was over tired?
We are phasing out the last nap, in that we don't 'force' it. When she doesn't have one tess is up lots before the dream feed as she is over tired but when she has one she wakes up early. Can't win!!

Yeah, he did BG. I can handle almost anything but I can't handle those night terrors. They leave me an emotional wreck. I don't know what to do today...
