~February & March Mummies and Babies~

Thanx babybee that would be good! Supply has been better today, don't think it helps I get lazy with the manual pump cos I get bored and my hand starts to hurt!!!

Glad you enjoyed your walk, we went to Hornsea for fish and chips cos there is a gluten free chippy there, but tbh they were awful today, didnt enjoy them!!!

I'm hiding upstairs cos if I don't I'm liable to punch numnuts right in the mouth, he is really doing my head in! He says me wanting an electric pump is a waste of money cos we have the manual one! He wants to try using it several times a day, trust me it gets really annoying to the point where I actually wonder why I am bothering!! But then I look at little man and realise why!
Plus he puts the stupid smoke before us, we walked in tonight and first thing he did was dump CJ and make a smoke, while little man was crying, I went ballistic!

We were seeing the mw every other day, but haven't seen her since Friday cos he was putting weight on, seeing them tomorrow, so fingers crossed for that and the jaundice! Hope little miss is putting weight on for you!!!

Hope you ladies all had a good day x

Fuming does not cover it!!!!!
Went downstairs to find him fast asleep on the sofa with CJ in his arms, the duvet was over them and his little head wasn't properly supported, when I took him off him he looked at me then went straight back to sleep, I can't believe he was so irresponsible! How can I ever trust him with the little man again??? Poor little love is now unsettled after putting him in his basket, I feel sooooooo bad :-(

Sassy I would be so mad too. But do you think he realised just how dangerous doing that was? Or did he think he was being cuddly by snuggling up with CJ in the warmth? I know that men can be so clueless at these things.
Xxx

Ladies, written up my birth story but I am positive you all know it already as I've mentioned it so many times!

I wasn't the being snuggled that bothered me cos I do the same, it was the fact he was fast asleep with him on his chest unsupported Hun! He could ov hurt him, or dropped him, who knows we are just lucky he didn't!
It's now gonna be that I'm with him 24/7 instead of being able to leave him with T while I get some sleep :-( xx

I'm sorry to hear that Hun. Men are totally clueless sometimes which makes us stress even more about the baby and them being alone with them. They just don't see the dangers we see!
Xxx

Hey girls, how is everyone? Anymore babies since last weekend? I've been back in hospital since Sunday and likely to be here for a few more days yet :( I have a bad case of mastitis and been on constant drips. Was talk of surgery yesterday but looks like inflammation in boob is starting to go down today so fingers crossed it won't come to that. They don't tell u about stuff like this at the antenatal classes! Still breast feeding with the 'normal' boob and wee woman doing fine.

Omg Seb, that sounds painful..... Glad it seems to be settling down and little one is still doing well! Sending big hugs xx

Poor you Seb! I'm glad things are getting a bit better now. Fingers crossed you make a speedy recovery!!xxx

Good news Little E has put on 100g since Monday. In total she's put on 300g! Another 260 to go until she's back to her birth weight! Yay!

Yay that's fantastic news about E putting 100g on!
We have just seen the mw and CJ has put 100g on since Friday so they are happy with him, not so happy with me thought, have to see dr at 5:20 as my c-section is severely infected, might explain why I've been feeling so ill the last few days!!! She has dressed it with gauze and now it's driving me mad! X

Anyone thinking of dtd? My little one is 15 days old and I'm thinking of when we can dtd again. I'm missing the intimacy with my hubby and I'm basically not bleeding anymore. Just a bit worried cos I was cut and had stitches... Do we need to wait a certain time before having sex again?

I'm on antibiotics and gotta go back Tuesday :-(

No way could I think of dtd Diane, especially with my section!! He is on a ban til I heal and have contraception sorted!!! Xx

I feel the same Diane but am just going to stick with cuddling for a good few weeks until my wound is better from the c section. Did you have a c section?

My lo was just sick, first time since she was born 10 days ago. I'm worried about her now. Did anyone else find their baby went through something similar?xxx

CJ is sick on occasion, not often, usually if he has been taking his milk too quickly!! X

Hey everyone. Sorry been a bit quiet. India's got a cold :wall2:
It's miserable. She can't feed properly cos she can't breathe, is getting really bad wind and won't sleep cos she can't breathe. Got some nose drops from the dr and the sucky tube thing, but both pretty pointless. Just have to sit here with her on me upright, maybe all night. Managed about an hours kip earlier...!

Seb, that sounds awful, I didn't know it could get that bad :( Hope you get better soon.

No advice re dtd (although I think usual advice is 6weeksish or when you feel you are ready). I haven't a clue how India came into being, there won't be any chance of a new one anytime soon that's for sure!!

Awww poor India, get well soon beautiful girl! Sending big get well hugs from me and CJ!! Xx

My poor little beast is constipated :-( its heartbreaking having to watch him cry and strain in pain :'( I've given him apple juice to try and help him His poos are still mushy though not like balls or anything. Midwives only really think they are constipated if their poos are like rabbit poops but he goes bright red and grunts an you feel him tense up trying to push. Going to see how it goes today as it started last night. :'(

Hope everyone else is well sorry to hear India is poorly jennilisanne xx
