~February & March Mummies and Babies~

Aw I've just missed Spencer crawling properly :-( mums got carpet so he must have found it easier to do it there

I'm not quiet I'm yelling in sign language

How did the anniversary go clairey?

Mil came round to see ruby today and let slip that oh has told her all about my depression and counciling sessions and stuff that I've told no one except him and he was Ment to be home at 6 to put lo to bed but is now doing a double shift instead so I'm yelling in sign language to save my voice for the actual yelling of which there will b a lot later.

I'm also determined to lose weight before Christmas so I'm on a proper health kick from tomorrow which means a lot of eating up all the crap food tonight...bye bye fairy cakes nom nom nom!

The meal and service were lousy which is a shame as it's where we got married, but it was lovely to get dressed up and be out the house ourselves!

I've had such a lovely weekend !

I've been flat out at the house most of today. I had some serious mummy guilt going on.
I came home, gave O his tea & put him to bed as usual. I then went back down to the house & got a call an hour later from his nanny asking if I could come home. He woke, she went to soothe him & apparently the minute she opened her mouth he went mad when he realised it wasn't me. He was in hysterics by the time I got back so that's only added to the mummy guilt. I've been sat in tears. I don't know how to get things done.

Thought I'd share this! Just spent two hours on it and my back is now killing! Jasmines 1st December box!! Cannot wait until next Sunday now!

Give yourself a break Hun even supermums like yourself can only be in one place at a time! Besides its good for them to be left with other people sometimes they can't learn we'll come back if we don't leave in the first place!

Clairey at least u got some adult time with the oh even if the meal wasn't fantastic! I like the top btw (saw on another thread I'm not a stalker I promise!)

Nicky I love the box! And it's sooooo pretty too, she love it!

I'm hoping she will! Struggling a bit at the minute cos I've done my back in! No idea how but its bloody painful! She cried to go to bed tonight lol so managed to get her box done!!

Hope you are all ok x

Not a good night hopes?

Has anyone got any ideas for helping Spencer crawl properly? He can't do it on our floors as they're pine and very Slippy but can do it on carpet, don't want a rug.

I was thinking of getting some patches to put on his knees?

No idea hun. With Jack we had a rug on our wood floor but he used his right knee and left foot to crawl instead of both knees as typical him he has to be different lol. Harry gets on all fours and rocks back and forth but hasn't worked out that he needs to move his arms yet lol. He sits on his & Jack's cotbed quilts as the rug has gone now. Once Spencer's better on carpet he'll be fine on your wood floor, Jack was x

We've got some foam play mats which are a bit better than our wooden floors but he doesn't stay on them long before he's rolled or wriggled off them!

Please if you by foam mats buy safe ones.

But I was going to say, once he has really nailed crawling on carpet he will work it out on wood. I think using those knee guards sort of defeats the object and is a prop, he will work it out one way or the other.

I know that feeling, hopes. E gave me his morning wake up at 5.44am. Yawn.

I'd just leave him; we have carpets and my lo found it easy to crawl on them but only crawled on my parents pine floor 3 weeks after first learning on ours. He will master it eventually xxx

Horrendous night here, S decided she wanted to be wide awake at 4.30am shouting "hi!" and "I see!" Incredibly proud of her, but frustrating at 4.30! Felt so bad for hubby getting up at 5.30 :-/ and on a night we decided to go to bed late too, little madam!

Clairey, he'll learn. Like the others have said wooden floors are a bit more slippery but he'll figure it out.

S is very clever Diane. Sorry to hear she woke you up this morning though.

Nicky, loving the box! Jas is very lucky.
I'd like to start a tradition that doesn't involve spending much money so I think we'll make mince pies together and mix in a 'wish'! Is that really stupid?

I've been having very mixed nights with E lately. Last night was much better but she still decided to wake at 5.30!

Also I want to get E a tartan or navy party dress for Christmas Day. I've seen some lovely ones online but they are £40!!! So I was wondering if anyone's spied any that are around the £20 mark?

Xxx
