****** February 2018 Mummy's thread. Hello tri 2 *****

TS that's great news!!!!! So amazing when you realise what that 'pop' is ❤️❤️
I get s couple of little pops every morning now to wake up to, best feeling ever xx

Torino haha hope you got some sleep in the end! I've not been brace enough to watch one born every minute yet.. I get all panicky lol x

Ts that's lovely!!!

Torino hehe bless you hope you managed to get some sleep! I love love love one born always need tissue when I watch it though!

Umm so I had the flu jab last week my hubby has had man flu this weekend and I've woken up this morning feeling like death! My whole body aches.. my throats feels like im swallowing razors and I have a fever.. currently laid on the sofa with a duvet watching nature shows feeling sorry for myself

Anyone else suffering with stitches when they walk?

I have to walk about 45 minutes in the morning and every day recently I have been hit by a stitch? Very random. I have to slow down to a snails pace and am barely making it to work on time lol.

I am going to need to do this walk until I am 37 weeks!!!!

I've had a pain like that carnat. Not all the time but it is something that is only helped by walking slowly!

Yep I have to slow down to "old lady" pace (I am usually a pretty fast walker, its about the only exercise I do!!)

I keep thinking I am a week ahead, told someone I am 24w tomorrow, whoops.

x

Looks like it wasn't my ligaments but my hips/pelvis. Going to see midwife when I can cos today was painful.

Baby is still popping away though.

In other news we got bumped up the list and got offered a bigger house! Downside is we are moving in 3 weeks. OH can't take time off work and we can't afford a moving van lol. Add that to me barely being able to walk and I see fun ahead.

Last night after my millionth wee session, as I crawled into bed. I felt the baby push himself against my tummy and I saw a little BUMP!!! It was abit freaky and overwhelming too. Sadly o/h was asleep as I really wanted to show him.

Exciting times JT!

Just thinking, we will have some viable babies next week! I'm 23 weeks tomorrow, so next week we should have a few of us hitting the all important 24w! Xx

Yes nearly 6 months woohoo!!!

Are you feeling any pains yet? Today Ive got a terrible backache and a urine infection!

I get backache sometimes but not too bad right now... I just feel generally achey all over!

Also I've booked my flu jab and whooping cough jab for the same day... on reflection I think this may be poor planning as I'm going to have two sore arms ...

I had both done at same time in first pregnancy. It was fine. But Yep you won't be up for much weight lifting for a few days.

I have a crazy golf thing the evening after my flu jab and I don't want 2 dead arms lol. Will have whooping cough jab in a few weeks.

Had my 20 week scan today! Measuring 21 weeks and 1 day!

Have to go back in 2 weeks as baby was lying awkwardly and wouldn't move :( no matter how many times I got off and on the bed, layed on my side and emptied my bladder she just wasn't co operating  gutted we didn't get any pictures either :( as the sonographer didn't take many good ones! So here's to another 2 week wait :(

But good news is my placenta is posterior! I must just have a very chilled out baby who doesn't move too much..unlike her brother who was lethal with every kick lol!

Had my scan today, baby is growing perfectly and all checks were fine! We’re still team green, so looking forward to the surprise in 20 weeks time. They did tell me I’ve got an anterior placenta, so that explains why the kicks I’ve felt have only been very low and infrequent. I need to do some reading on anterior placentas to fully understand everything. Was absolutely magical seeing baby again though!!

Don’t know why the piccy is sideways, it’s the only one I can seem to upload too :(
