****** February 2018 Mummy's thread. Hello tri 2 *****

I think I have been feeling kicks for a few weeks actually but they are not pleasant the way I imagined them to me. It's slightly painful. Not extreme but minor stretching sensations.

Its not often though. I want to see hand and foot prints!

Oh wow. January just came into 2nd tri. Not long now until some of you make 3rd. Eek.

Woke today with some weird shabby twinges. I'm assuming round ligament and hoping this and the pressure in my pelvis means baby is heading up to give me a bump. I can hope haha.

4 weeks until 3rd trimester. Cant wait.

I was having a beach whale moment this morning and told o/h I feel depressed and uncomfortable in my skin and reassured me I still look the same except bigger belly and boobies lol. For once it came across genuine and not "get over yourself" type of comments. lol

Do you ever get pain in your tailbone when you sit for a long period of time? It's started for me and it's not pleasant.

hopefully yout pain goes away!

Nope it's all on the left and like a muscle that spasms as I move then slowly relaxes.

The tailbone pain is separate to ligaments stretching. Ligaments stretches ive been told are very normal and common

It seems to have eased after a soak with a Lush bathbomb. Either that or I'm too relaxed to feel it haha.

Ps I never had Brixton hicks with DD but have been getting tightening of uterus (which also happens to make me feel like I'm being kicked in the throat oddly) since about 12 weeks, anyone else?

Yes!!! It's horrible.. I know it only lasts a minute but I hate it x

If someone else says to me are you sure it's not twins I'm going to punch them lol

I have someone at work who is a week behind me (her first) and she is a lovely, slim little thing with not a bump in sight.

I looked 6 months gone before I was even pregnant!!! Seriously though, we are being directly compared and its pissing me off now. It's my 3rd baby and I am good few stone heavier than her so what do people expect!

Im with you on the being huge for 21 weeks!

CARNAT how frustrating! Personally, I don't understand the whole comparing pregnant ladies thing! everyone is different! I was a sleek size 12 when I had my 3rd and barely showed.. a size 14 now and look huge! people P me off!!

TRI 3 is coming up pretty quickly! I'm excitedly nervous if thats a thing? I feel like the first tri really dragged and this one is flying by.

I am SO EXCITED that we are approaching Tri 3. It means we are closer to meeting our lovely angels xx

I agree @Crinkles, the first Tri did drag and this one is flying by.

It's my firstpregnancy and Ive had it easy so I am curious to see what the third tri has in store for me.

Pretty much all of my shopping is done too which is sad because I still want to buy more!

Pain was back last night. Felt like one sided cramps. I turned over and it went again. So weird.

Might book in with gp if it keeps up.

Hi everyone! Hope you are all ok, TS I hope your pain gets better soon, with it being one sided it does sound like ligament pain??

I'm having period like pains at the mo and have been for s few days... are period like cramps normal at this stage in pregnancy? Hopefully it's just stretching pains but feels more like period?? Anyone else having this?

I feel like a big mama too haha coming up to 21 weeks this Friday and really feel bellly is popping out more now, it's funny how people like to comment on your body... oh you're big/small aren't you? Oh that's definitely a boy/girl... haha does make me laugh

Scampi and chips for tea tonight yessss that thought has kept me going today haha

 xx

Babyruth. I'm thinking so or some sort of muscle pain. It's only when I lay on one side for too long and goes instantly when I move.

I'm sure any cramping is "normal" at this stage as long as it's not severe or accompanied by bleeding. Maybe call the midwives if you're unsure.

So... Apparently baby is blowing bubblegum. Had my first 2 definite "pop" sensations tonight. Completely welled up.

I should not be awake right now!

My bloody husband.. messing about and turning lights on at 3am because he needs a drink. Eash.. can't get back to sleep so I'm watching one born every minute.
