TORino - go to the Chiropractors, it'll really help! I used to go as I suffered with Sciatica previously, I've not been for over a year as I've felt quite well, but this last couple of weeks I've had sciatica twinges and back pain, so I'm booked in again next week.

I told my mum the other day that we wouldn't be finding out the sex of baby, and she threw a bit of a paddy, saying she wouldn't be buying anything for baby as there are no nice neutral clothes around. I've not asked for anything, so it's her decision if she chooses to buy baby anything, but I'm feeling a bit pressured to find out what I'm having by her. I understand it's her first grandchild, but it really did upset me...am I unreasonable to be upset by that?

Eeee!! Bubbling over with excitement (And fear)..finally booked the sexing scan! By this time next week we'll know whether were pink or blue I'm so excited (And nervous)..i can finally go shopping

Physio appointment was ok, it's not particularly helpful though as I'm already doing the exercises. I have a sexy looking tubigrip and support strap. I've been referred to the hydrotherapy pool to do exercises there.

I had my 16 week appointment today, all results from last time were great! Got to hear baby's heartbeat, was absolutely wonderful!!

boobaby I think that you are entirely reasonable to be upset! There are some absolutely gorgeous unisex clothes out there with greys and whites and some lovely primary colours too. I think your Mum is being pretty insensitive baring in mind it's your choice. Don't let anyone pressure you into anything; this is your special time xx

Hello all,

I have been catching up with a few pages of posts....

movements:
I am also in the same boat when it comes to baby movements. I felt my DD at 16 weeks but haven't felt
this baby really at all. I had my 16 week MW check on Mon which was actually 17 weeks and she found baby straight away... later that day I had a nap and woke up on my back and could feel some movement. That's been it for me so far. I don't think my placenta is in a different place I just think it really depends on how busy we are, the position baby is in and how big baby is. So please don't worry ladies. By 26 weeks you'll be getting fed up of being kicked and prodded and woken up all night lol!

I have 3 weeks to wait until my 20 week scan which will actually be at 20+5 then nothing until about 28 weeks when I get 1 more MW appointment. Its' funny how many less appointments you get with 2nd baby.

Holly thanks for posting your message it's nice to hear how the pregnancies vary and that each person is different. I'm 17 weeks tomorrow (yey) so maybe start to feel something next week ��.........

Glad to hear everyone's scans are going well! I also had my 16w scan and everything's good! Had to see a specialist though who has just made me more anxious about the risks of carrying these babies. Still don't know the gender yet

Scan for me a week tomorrow. Seems to have come round quite quickly. Hopefully my baby will have grown properly, still quite anxious about this low pappA thing.

Hopefully I will resist the gender revelation.

How come I have not been offered a 16 week scan?

16 week scans aren't part of the normal pathway. Mrs law likely had one due to a multiple pregnancy. Everyone else has likely paid for a gender scan.

My scan next week is 20 week one.

Yep I assume the 16w scan is due to twins?

Most hospitals do 2 scans - dating and anomaly. Mine actually give 3 as standard. Everyone gets a growth scan between 36-38w.

My 20w scan isn't until 20th!!

Kinda sulking now. Between that and seeing my neighbours massive bump. She's 13 weeks. I'm still just fat. Argh

I'm feeling the same ts, I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and feel like I just have a podge, can't wait for a proper bump instead of feeling fat!

My scans on 9th October, I'll be 20+2, I can't wait! Xx

Yes, sorry. 16wk scan due to multiples, otherwise i would have had to wait for what would feel like ages! You ladies are all so patient, i would have booked private scans every week lol

Boobaby it's so annoying. Especially when people see me and comment that I don't even look pregnant yet. I know they mean well but I have resisted the urge to punch some of them.

Getting so close to Wednesday!! So excited to see what gender we have cooking away!! Sebastian has been so clingy to me these past few days, he's been "loving" my belly (giving cuddles) he calls it loving and claims that his sister is saying hello everytime my belly rumbles haha..hes even named bump Ruby! He's so adamant he's getting a sister..bless him! I'm gonna feel so bad if it's a boy, But he's told me he's not going to be cross if it's a boy

My next scan isn't until 9th October, And then no more midwife appointments until 25 weeks..which will be November time
