February 2017 Mummies - First Trimester

Hey ladies how are you all doing ? I have zero symptoms at all - its freaking me out! x

we didn't go inventive when telling parents! Probably will do something when we announce on Facebook though

I told my mum yesterday and she was over the moon. Im not planning on telling the rest of my family till after the scan and unless I'm really showing I'm going to wait till around 20 weeks to tell anyone else. With my first daughter I was a bit rubbish and told people from 8 weeks. Second daughter I was even worse and told people immediately. This time I really want to try my best to hide it and tell people as and when we see them from 20 or so weeks. But since its my 3rd pregnancy I reckon I'll be showing so much earlier.

Who's planning on finding the gender out?x

I've only told my parents I did the good old stick in a box ha ha! Did the same with my husband - I need to be more inventive when we tell other people - going to wait until 12 week scan

Will be finding out the gender hopefully at 16 weeks babybee will you?

In my everyday off life I have only told hubs, a close friend and the agency I work for....

Oh and We haven't decided whether to find out the sex or not, although I'm thinking that I'd rather not at the moment...

Hey girls how are you all??
So I woke up with zero symptoms today, apart from sore boobs. And as the day progressed I thought why haven't I got any symptoms.

It was then that I realised I was munching on cheesey chips with brown sauce and then ordered two hash Browns. Just two hash Browns (work in a cafe)
I had a major giggle fit, then got extremely annoyed at oh cos he starts work late.
So am home now and realised maybe I have symptoms that I'm just not noticing at the time. Lol
Got a headache xxx

Hey everyone - are all you newbies on the Facebook group? I'm feeling ok but still in a panic as about to hit week 6 and my sickness phobia worries me! I hope I can be a lucky symptom free lady I've been bad and told a few people as rubbish at keeping stuff quiet - but I would tell those people if it went wrong too.

We will defo find out gender as it made life so much easier

I'm not on the facebook group yet. I will do later on, but I'd hate for facebook to fail or something and it become a public group or whatever lol.

We're not finding out gender. We did with our other's but we're going for the suprise this time

Hi everyone, I haven't joined the fb group yet but I'll think I'll wait a couple of weeks. My sickness has been so up and down but the tablets from the doctor and helping a bit. I really fancied a can of coke last night so my oh went to the garage at 9.30 to get one and I had one sip and felt sick! Oops.

I just picked up some tablets today too. I have had hyperemesis with my other pregnancies, and today I've noticed if I'm not full, I'm a bit queasy, so I thought I'd get started on tablets asap. I've gone for metoclopromide. What do you have Nic? x

I bit the bullet earlier and told my doctors surgery and rang the midwives...

I was given prochlorperazine, wasn't given the choice. She said not to use in tri 3 but I'm hoping it will pass after 1 weeks as it did before x

We are undecided if we will find out gender, we didn't with our daughter and I felt I gave me that bit of surprise and excitement to keep going in the end and we had such troubles with the 20 week scan that I had to go back twice and they still didn't get good views or measurements of everything so don't think they would have been able to tell anyway.

I couldn't help but tell everyone in my last pregnancy by 8 weeks we had told work, all our families and close friends only waited to announce on FB till after the scan, lucky everything was perfect but I am going to wait till 12 week scan this time.

Yeah first 2 times I found out but this time I want the element of surprise at the end so I think I'm going to wait!

I'm starting to have symptoms. Very slightly nauseous but really quite exhausted. Everywhere aches. Have a mild headache constantly. Went to bed at 8.30 last night. Not enjoying this at all. I wish I could be a SAHM...
