February 2017 Mummies - First Trimester

Aww bless ya, if it's any help my cauliflower cheese didn't really sit right and I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped xx

I wish I could eat food without throwing it up! I'm going to phone the docs tomorroq

Baybee, I have no idea this double pushchair is a whole new ball game! Not sure I like the idea of them having to put one in the bottom basket bit and my LG is so nosey she needs to be looking forwards and I have dogs to walk so need a buggy capable of that and quite easy to get out and go as I have to mess about putting one dog in a special cart because she is an amputee. Any suggestions welcome! Xx

I have an uppababy and it's an older version so I bought the toddler seat. I was given a side by side one but it didnt even fit through my front door, id have to collapse it outside the house.
If I could buy a double buggy now then I would probably go for the mountain buggy duet. It's a side by side one but the overall width is the same as most single travel systems. You can also attach the bassinet and the car seat.

Oo, thank you! Just had a quick peak and it has opened up a whole new lot of options and the mountain duet looks ideal. Can you tell I'm getting just a little excited already haha!

Oops... So i went to bed at 6:30 last night for a kip for an hour and woke at 5am this morning! My god I was so tired though! Xx

Hi all,

Just wondering what vitamins everyone is taking. I'm taking pregnacare Max which was like gold dust to find.

Is the particular time of day everyone tends to take them?

X

Happi: I take mine in the morning but I have to eat a biscuit with it because I do feel quite sick otherwise. I might change to another but have 80 pills left to go!

Little pip, I have fallen in love with the bugaboo donkey on the internet when I saw it last night. I am going to have to go and try a few out if I can find them in stores. With the pushchair for my first I just ordered a travels system online and although it's been fine for the last 10 months I so wish I went and tried a few.

I take vitabiotics pregnacare as I was given a sample of it when pregnant first time round and could tolerate it, you take it with your main meal. I would always advise taking vitamins with a meal so they have more chance of being digested and absorbed properly unless they state otherwise.

I had a chameleon which I loved but have a city mini now. My little girl will be 3 so just going to get something cheap this time or get the bassinet for the city mini. I went crazy spending last time so going to curb it second time round.

I'm so bad and haven't taken vits as so scared of them making me feel sick. This phobia is awful :(

Morning everyone. I went to the docs and completely broke down. She gave me some anti sickness tablets do fingers crossed that they work!

Yep, we went mad 1st time round as well I insisted that everything matched so spent lots on getting everything from the Winnie pooh collection haha everything from the bath thermometer to the cotbed have the same picture on them haha. This time round all I really need is the double pushchair so will put all my pennies to that and obviously some new clothes.

Love how interested my hubby is this time, don't get me wrong he was supportive and excited last time but this time he keeps bringing it up and asking about names and if we will find out the sex and we wanted to keep it our little secret for a while this time but he couldn't keep the smile off his face and told his best friend already.

LD1978 I find the vits make new feel sick unless I take them after a proper meal and then I don't feel anything.

I love the bugaboo donkey too, it's just too wide as a double for me. I am really hoping that I can use the buggy board though but I think that's wishful thinking.

Aww Nic I hope they kick in real soon and it makes it at least manageable! Xx

Aww nic I hope you feel better soon :(

I do think you tend to go crazy with the first and I struggled to conceive so thought what the hell and spent loads ha ha
