Hi all, just popping in post scan... Baby was very awkward and between hugging the placenta and somersaulting, decided they would not like to be scanned today Even went for a (failed) walk and came back but sonographer still couldn't get a good zoom in on the heart! So back we go for round 3 two weeks today!!

Along with kindly showing some brain, baby did decide to flash some tackle, so we are very much team blue again! Needless to say my 5 year old son is thrilled but I'm severely outnumbered now & may have to consider moving out lol!!

Haha, yeah just move out and leave the boys to it Caitd...I'm sure that's how my Husband and son feel with 4 females in the house and another on the way....even the dog is a girl hahaha.
Congrats on team blue though!! Starting to even out this very pink month a little lol. Exciting that you get another scan too and see the little one again! He musnt of been ready to have his pic taken then ����

How's everyone else doing?
I'm such a high maintenance pregnant woman right now lol. A lot of stuff really p***ing me off and getting to me....more so about my hubby's family than anything else.
When it was Alices party last week, my mother in law and sister in law came along...now my mother in law hadn't seen us or the kids since May! They live a good 40 minute car ride away, so not that far really, but we don't drive and they both have cars. My sister in laws baby is favoured so much more than any of the other grandchildren, and ive never voiced it or anything, but it was so noticeable at the party that ppl commented on it. Alice was pretty much ignored, they were too busy taking photos of my SILs baby, my SIL didn't even come over to sing happy birthday to alice when everyone else was....she didn't even look over in that direction (she really is a horrible person). It's got me so mad that I think why did they even come? Just to show face? I told my husband and we ended up having a massive row about it because to him and his brothers, anything they do wrong it's just dismissed as if it's ok, when it's not ok. I even ended up deleting their numbers out of my phone and saying I want nothing more to do with them cos I just stress myself out about them.
Might sound a bit petty I know, but there's been many an instance over the years when their awfulness has shone through, but now I'm just getting sick of it....families....if only you could pick them xxx

Aww MrsHttc, sounds like you've been having a bit of a tough time! I've seen the same kind of favouritism in families, and it's quite upsetting to see. I know you know this, but just try not to let it bother you too much (maybe it's for the best you don't see them too often, to save yourself and your daughter stress) and just try to create a stress-free pregnancy.

Thanks Molly. It is an awful thing, especially when it's so so noticeable. I'm just going to keep out of their way (not that it's hard to do...prob won't see them now until christmas), but even then I'm not going to jump and change my plans so they can decide when's best for them, they'll have to live with what's best for us from now on.

How is everyone? Only one week to go until the magic 24 weeks!! Same for you too Suzanne! Can't believe its only 4 weeks until we hit tri 3!!!!! OMG!!!!!! X

Blimey ladies seems like such a difference from beginning of Feb to the end with you all abit to hit 24 weeks.

I've got my 20 week scan tomorrow. Bit nervous as I haven't fel a lot of movement so hoping it's all ok tomorrow

Yoohoo everyone all ok here DD felt her little sister kicking this afternoon lol her face was a picture!
24 weeks next week Mrsh viability day yippeeeeeee!! Never realised its only 4 weeks till tri3 dear me lol I'm sure time will slow down then!
Ohhhh 10 days till your bonding scan how exciting I'm still thinking about it will u pop a pic on? X

Hi ladies, sorry I've been REALLY quiet on here and I must try to come on more often. It's been such a lovely time so far in tri 2- feeling like my normal self but with little baby kicking and wriggling in my tummy- I love it! My 20 week scan isn't for a few days yet but I can't wait to see him again

Good luck with your scan today pumpkin!! I'm sure everything will be great...I was nervous before my scan too...had a few happy tears when I saw her kicking about. Can't wait to see pics!!

Awwww that's lovely Suzanne! I bet she was over the moon. This little lady only seems to kick about at night once I've sat down and the kids are all asleep...I must be keeping her asleep rocking her around while I'm busying about during the day haha.
I'm having to put my scan back a week or so because alice got her MMR appointment for the day before, so I don't want to risk her not being well and having to leave her with my mam while we go for my scan. Every chance she'll be absolutely fine I know, but one of my daughters wasn't well after hers for a couple of days so I'll feel better changing it just Incase.
Are you feeling better now Suzanne? Did your midwife appointment go ok?

Glad your having a lovely pregnancy Ruby....nothing better than feeling your little one moving about and saying hello. Fab! Looking forward to seeing your scan pics! Xxx

All went ok thanks, everything looked as expected, she was wiggling away and they've confirmed my placenta is at the front which is most likely why I'm not feeling that much right now. Even saw her kick me and didn't feel it which was very weird!

Lovely 30 minutes of seeing everything of her even her fingers

Good luck for tomorrow, it's definitely the best scan

I'm feeling ok yeah midwife appointment went good heard heartbeat nice and strong physio got back to me but missed the call so have to call them back lol typical! Never talked to her about how I was feeling as she seemed to just rush me out of the room like she was in a rush! But I feel ok at the min I'll see how I go next appointment is week 28 when I get my whooping cough jab and bloods done happy days! Oh also she give me my flu jab there and then!
I can't blame you for putting it back a week I like your thinking in advance

Hi ladies!! Sorry I've been so quiet - finally moved a fortnight ago but only just had internet installed. All good here - obviously doing a ridiculous amount with working 50+ hours a week, having a toddler and moving house so probably should be taking things a bit easier, but it's half term next week so off to visit my parents in France, so hoping I'll get pampered a bit there!!

Can't believe it's v day for me on Weds! This is absolutely flying by now. My anterior placenta has been masking a lot of movement but I'm starting to get some nice strong kicks now so feeling much better now I can feel baby every day. No more midwives appts til 30th Oct - assume as I'll be 26ish weeks that will just be more pee and bloods etc? Will have to make up my mind about my homebirth soon. Seeing as our new house is a complete state I'm inclined to head into the birthing unit at hospital - out of sheer laziness at not wanting to clear up more mess than anything else!! We are no closer with a boys name but think we may have narrowed one down for a girl...

Hi ladies, sounds great Hellywelly. It's funny- I feel so like my normal self at the moment- really enjoying my pregnancy so much. Making the most of it and crazy busy. I guess that's the charm of Tri 2- everyone told me it would be lovely and it is! Maybe that's why Feb mums is so quiet too- we're all making the most of feeling ok! My scan is later this week- excited to see the baby again- weird that this will probably be the last time I see him/ her before the birth- eek!!

Hey ladies!! Sorry been MIA...been crazy crazy busy at home clearing out everything I possibly can and getting sorted for the loft to be converted...more space for more people needed lol.

Yey Suzanne!! Officially viable!! Sounds crazy that we've less than 16 weeks to go now till our due date...how fast is this going?!!!
Sounds like everyone had been super busy aswell, so hope your all doing ok...

Has everyone been buying for baby? I've hardly got anything at the minute with being so busy...I have found my pram though so mega excited to order it as it's available to pre-order now...eek!!

It should of been my 4D scan on Thursday, but it's been put back to 2nd November as alice is getting her MMR tomorrow so taking precaution incase I have a poorly little lady afterward. The lady on the phone said that will be better anyway as it's the best time to be scanned.

Hey everyone!

I had my 20 week scan last Friday, and my mum came along. It was really lovely and all very healthy. I stayed strong and remained team yellow. It was very beautiful to see little baba, and his/her hand was up on his/her face....



Everyone seems to think it's a lil boy.

Is it just me or is everyone on this thread really happy with their pregnancies right now? It's so lovely to hear, I'm so glad things are going well for you all. I think we're past that stage where you just don't feel pregnant, kicks are starting and bonding has become stronger.
