Hope the move has gone well helly! I have an anterior placenta too, same as my last pregnancy, so I can only feel this little lady on my right side mostly.

Congrats KateTazzie! I'll add you too our due date list! did the radiographer not give you the option to find out boy of girl? Or did you want to keep it as a surprise anyway? Xx

Im Australian too, I live in the Netherlands now though :)

Are you planning to get scanned again to find out definitely the gender? Based on those photos, Id actually guess girl!
I may be looking at them wrong though
 
I was just wondering if nylons knows how many midwife appointments we get I've had my booking app my 16 week app next week got my 22 week app ?
 
Hey Suzanne! Yeah it is very quiet...I've just been so so busy with the little ones party and stuff....it totally wiped me out and ive only just recovered lol. How are you doing?

I'm not sure how many midwife appointments...I think it all depends on area and how many babies you've had etc...my next appointment is 25 weeks x
 
Hi ladies! I haven't been on the forum for so long, I'm 17+2 and for the last few days my bits have been aching so much. I've had shooting pains but this is like the bone hurts. I'm struggling to walk without pain and sit on the loo. I remember having it later with ds but wondered if any of you have had it this early?? It bloody hurts!! Xx
 
glad your LO had a lovely birthday makes it all worth while! I'm doing fine just bloody sore hips! It's killing by lunch time I'm done in honestly will have a moan next week at midwife app lol! It's funny how appointments differ from area to area I'm not that far from you either how bizarre! Think I'll get my matB1 form next week so can get work sorted out! Although they already have me covered lol!

Robtans I'm in agony with SPD by lunchtime like you can hardly walk feel like I'm walking ridiculous! I've had this from around 11-12 weeks this is my 3rd child but 1st time I've had it! I had sciatica with Dd but I think this is far worse xx

My next midwife appointment isn't till 28 weeks! Because it's my second, with your first you normally get one at 24 weeks then 28 weeks and then you get another at 32 I think and after that they are every 2 weeks I believe.

I do have some other appointments in between times luckily but 16 weeks to 28 weeks feels like an eternity!!
 
Ohh pumpkin I guess I'm lucky then 16 then 22 with my 3rd child lol Awww well! The more the merrier ha! X
 
It's rubbish! Didn't even get to hear hb at my 16 week appointment as she was too busy yacking about random rubbish.

I live in the wrong part of the country clearly!

Had my 20 week scan yesterday. My friend had her's last week and they turned the screen off to check the genitals as she's keeping it a surprise. We wanted a surprise too, but the sonographer didnt switch off the monitor, she just checked with us watching! She referred to the baby as "baby" the whole time, but at one point later on in the scan she said "he" was being cheeky.
I know you won't know, but based on that, do you think we are having a boy? I wondered whether the genitals were so obvious that she didnt need to do a zoomed-in check...

Perhaps it's was just a slip of the tongue - it's going to get you wondering though regardless.

I can't remember what we saw at our 20 week scan last time, I know my husband said he was convinced it was a boy before she'd even said but i don't know if he was pulling my leg'!


I'm jealous of you ladies that are feeling things. I'm really not noticing anything at the moment - got me abit nervous really. Occasionally I think I can feel something but almost inside now outside, but I'm not getting anything else I'm assuming because of my anterior placenta
 
Yeah that will definitely get you guessing Lucky...although at my 20 week scans thought the sonographer had said "he" before she told us the sex....but it's a girl, so I don't know if I was hearing things or if she'd just slipped up.

Awwwww how lovely feeling them all move about now!! Really is the loveliest feeling in the world!

My placenta is anterior too pumpkin...was the same when I was pregnant with alice and can only feel this little lady move on my left side, so I need to sit every night to make sure I can feel her...something else to add to the worry of pregnancy isn't it xx

Re movement, I haven't really felt anything yet and I'm 20+3. Sometimes I think I feel it at night, if I lie down and hold my tummy for ages, but not sure if its a bit of wind or something!
 
Ah maybe you have a little boy on the way then, LuckyB! But I think sometimes they just use either he or she for babies, I don't know. I hope our sonographer doesn't do that, we're team yellow and I think that will just make me too eager to know!!

Yeah, I'm a little jealous of those of you who've felt kicking/flutters, lucky you! I haven't I don't think (first time baby so unsure what it feels like), but definitely feel mild pain (possibly stretching) ...not in an uncomfortable way, it feels more like a way for baba to say hello. :) 2 more weeks till the scan!
 
Morning ladies hope all is well! I've been feeling rather down lately my kids are driving me mad, work and just feeling as though no matter what I do it's never good enough! I'm going to speak to my midwife at my app on Wednesday never had this in any of my other pregnancys so we will see....

Mrs h when is your 4d scan? I'm really beginning to want one just don't know how I'll justify it after paying for an early scan then a gender lol! How much did u pay if u don't mind me asking Hun x

Awwww I hope your feeling a bit better Suzanne. Sending lots of hugs. I know where your coming from...I've felt a lot of the same the past week or so. Hopefully just our hormones and we'll be happy as Larry again soon :)

My 4D scan is 15th October...I'm quite sure its £139....there are 3 options though, I think that's the middle one. Theres not a lot of difference in the prices though, just depends on what you want included when it comes to photos and stuff xx
