So if I have the EWCM for 4 days before I ovulate, would I have a better chance of conceiving if I tried for 3 days in a row from the 2nd day I had the EWCM, or 2 days from the 2nd day, missing a day inbetween? Some people say miss a day inbetween to let the sperm build up again, but then I heard that it only builds the male sperm back up and the female sperm doesn't reduce if you try everyday.

Erm I dont know. I wouldn't bd everyday though, just every other day. If I were you I would just bd every two days and your bound to catch it at some point because I really am not sure about the cm. I just know with me I have one day where its really watery and thats my ov day.

Oh, this is getting more complicated by the minute, lol. I think I am tying you in a knot here I don't have 5 days of watery CM. When I said day 1 to 5, I meant 3 of those days were stretchy and the last 2 days were more watery and I ovulated on the last watery day.

Ok, I got my stretchy CM today, so I've decided I'm gonna try Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and then I should ovulate on Wednesday. Wish me luck, lol!

I've just BDd tonight, so if I miss tomorrow out, that means I've only got Tuesday. Will it reduce my chances if I BD tomorrow and Tuesday?

I think I ovulated this morning. I did an ebay ovulation test yesterday about 5pm and the line was almost as dark as the control line, but I couldn't decide whether it was positive or negative. I BDd last night anyway. Then this morning, I had lower stomach ache (still got it now) as if I was ovulating. Then at lunch time, I did another ovulation test. Well, I did 2 - a Boots one and an ebay one. This time, the ebay one had no line at all and the Boots one was negative aswell. So does that seem I am over my surge and the test I did yesterday was positive and I have ovulated today? I haven't been taking my temperature, so I can't go by that. Last month, I had 4 days of EWCM before I ovulated, but this time I've only had 3 days of it, so I've only been able to try twice. So next time I will start trying on the first day I get it.

Yeah you bd at the right time Cori. I think they say that after a positive opk, you ovulate within 12-24 hours so there will be some sperm waiting there for your egg! Once you get a positive opk you won't get one again this month so you've done the right thing

I hope so, but first thing this morning, I had a bit of stretchy CM. I thought that was over after you ovulated?

I know, so why did I have a positive OPK on Monday and a negative one on Tuesday and then a bit more stretchy CM this morning (Weds)? I think it's turned white and thick now. I hope I didn't ovulate today, otherwise I could have tried yesterday aswell. I hope I didn't try too early.

if you had a + opk it means your oving in the next 24/36 hours thats probaly why it was fertile during the 2 days after the +

The stretchy CM has gone now, I just had that little bit yesterday morning. But that could have been just left over from the day before, or it could have been semen. Anyway, it's too late now. It's either worked or it hasn't, lol.

I'm feeling very guilty right now, as I'm drinking a cup of coffee. Last month, I didn't touch coffee or tea from the day I started TTC.
