I am 40 so time is running out for me..

I'm sorry to hear this hun, really do feel for you. It's getting more common tho to sucessfully have children a bit older so don't you give up hope yet. I myself had a missed miscarriage last month so know how you are feeling and I'm here if you need someone to chat to, just give me a private message anytime xxxx

Hi Angel, sorry to hear about your mc. You can conceive though and you are entitled to have it investigated to rule out any underlying issues that may contribute to you miscarrying.

Have you spoken to your doctor about this?xx

Hi Angel, so sorry for your losses, I agree with Sunbeam, have you been referred? I would push if you haven't especially given possible time limitations!

~Really sorry hun, you have had a rough ride of this X I have only had one MMC at 11 plus weeks so can only guess at how these are making you feel.

The good thing is that you are falling pregnant ok and you are really fertile after MC's so I hope when you TTC you fall again quickly with a super sticky bean XX

So sorry to hear this Angelcake,
I have had two MMC's this last year , and it has taken 7 - 8 months to fall pregnant, so I know how it feels.
To have it again a 3rd time must be so awful.
I am nearly 38 so also fell like I am running out of time, but I dont think this helps with the pressure and stress we put ourselves under.
really wishing the best of luck for the future, you still have time, you can conceive, just try to relax as much as possible and enjoy your partner and ex life and hopefully that sticky bean will happen, thats what I am planning to do when I feel ready again. Good luck!!! Feel free to pm me anytime too. xxxxx

:) Thanks ladies..
although I have had 3 losses .. as I have only had 2 m/c they wont investigate further until i had a 3rd m/c.. which i hope wont happen!!

I have got some 75mg asparin and will take this if I get a bfp
hopefully it will help xx

They are investigating me after only 2.
But I have really pushed and laid it on thick how it is affecting me and making me depressed and also that I am running out of time. It really is worth another try. xxx

So sorry for your losses darling xxx

Why are they only counting it as 2 M/c's though?

I know you probably won't feel up to it at the moment but I really think you need to be a bit more forceful with your Dr? With your age and the fact you have had 3 losses so close together I think you should push for an investigation

Although if course you can do that when you feel up to it.

I was fobbed off by my Dr's when I had a chemical pregnancy at 5w 4d and I am so angry as to how I was treated. Mine happend over a weekend and when I called on the Monday they didn't have any appointments, I had to tell the receptionist what I needed (blood test to confirm I was indeed pregnant etc and she was so frigging unhelpful and couldn't get me anything that day or the next)

EPU told me not to come in as it was too early for them to see anything on the scan and I that I would be tying up valuable resources (they were a lot more tactful and actually quite helpful but that was it in a nutshell) I was left to deal with it all by myself.

I am so annoyed this 2nd loss did not go down on my medical file

So I urge you OP not to shy away - I think you deserve some investigations and when you feel strong enough I think you should go back to your Dr.

In the meantime keep well and healthy

xxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Carnat..
I think its because I had a Tubal Reversal to try for another baby with my new husband, I had this done privately in july 2010 .. and got my first bfp in September 2010.. which was ectopic, and I lost my right tube and beanie.. I think I may have got pregnant too soon after the op, as I wasnt really trying that hard!
I was under the care of epu.. as my GP was rubbish and hadnt even booked an early scan for me.. I did this direct with epu and after the op they said to contact them if i got pregnant again.. so when i got my bfp in May 2011 I contacted them and made an appointment for a 6 week scan, .... started bleeding at 5 wks and 3 days and had an m/c.. saw GP but they didnt do alot..
and made me feel worse.. just said its very common 1 in 4 ladies miscarry.so when I got my bfp again, I just phoned epu and booked a scan for 6 weeks.. knowing that I probably wouldnt make it to 6 weeks.. phoned them up.. after bleeding had stopped.. and the cb didgi said `not pregnant`.. as i knew it was over!.. felt it was easier to find out myself rather than go for a scan and to be told I`d had a m/c.. if that makes sense..
epu said they would investigate if I had another m/c.. I have also contacted the consultant that did the reversal to see what he suggests..

Gosh hun,

Sounds like your GP has been crap.

I am glad you back in touch with your consultant as he may be able to have some imput.

It sometimes feels like no-one wants to help us ladies when we need it the most.

I understand on a practical level those of us that have natural M/c's at home and do not require medical attention are not going to be viewed as a priority by EPU's etc and I know that in some ways we were 'lucky' for not needing medical intervention BUT it doesn't help with the emotional side of things.

I hope that your next pregnancy works out Angel and you don't need the EPU to look into it for you.

xxxxxxx

Thanks hun..
yes my gp is rubbish..
you are right about the emotional sie of things..
thank god for forums like this xx

I found this place after my early M/c last month (actually I found it when iw as preggers but it helped me deal with the loss I suffered)

I wish I'd found it back in Mya when I went through a really long and drawn out M/C and had no-one to talk to.

The ladies here are amazing and a few that have suffered losses are now back in Tri 1, proving that there is a way forward after the most awful of losses

xxxxxxxxxxxxx

so sorry to hear about your losses.
I myself had an ectopic last year had left tube removed and was told right was blocked. Im now pregnant again, father says ive tried to trap him.
Hang on in there, there is always hope xx
