Right, back from the consultant and my blood pressure is VERY high

He gave me an internal examination (which was very painfull) and said that my cervix is soft and my body is doing all the right things but my cervix is still too high up to perform a sweep

so....

Im being admitted to hospital tonight, (I've just nipped home to get back to have a bite to eat and get my bag) and have been put on the induction list for tommorow evening or Friday morning. I didnt want to be induced but my blood pressure is worryingly high, (146/111) it might be the best for me and the baby.

I have Mel and Amy's number so will keep you informed. Next time i talk to you all I will be a mummy!!

Good luck, you never know, baby might come before that. Just cos your cervix is high doesn't mean s/he's not going to come..... I was told this 2ce and surprised everyone by producing a baby a couple of hours later xx

ps take lots to read/music/snacks etc. Hospitals are such boring places x
