I signedup with scottish power a few weeks ago and they said they will sort everything and switch suppliers for me etc.
But I've just got a letter off e-on, it says;

"we're pleased to let you know that eon supplies your address with electricity and gas. You've automatically become an eon customer on a 'deemed contract'.
Please check we have your correct details.
If you've chosen to pay by direct debit and have asked us to send you a DD instruction, you will rceieve this in the next few days"

What do I do???
I'm a little worried lol

No me neither - my oh sorts all the bills out!

I thought you might understand it a bit better then me.

Basically the supplier the previous tennant has continues to be your supplier until you change it - if you've signed up with Scottish power then they will take over your supply - but the switch can take upto a month so therefore you will have to pay E.oN for the bit of power they have supplied whilst the switch is happening.

Give E.oN a call and set up an account so it's easy to pay your one bill then check with Scottish that they are switching you - Scottish will do all the talking to E.oN you don't need to tell E.oN you're leaving so you don't end up with the hard sell.

Does that make sense? xxxxx
