Why they say when babies smile it's because they have wind???

I've spent many hours gazing at my gorgeous boy asleep and smiling and then I worry he's uncomfortable cause he's got wind?

Anyone know where that came from??

I think some smiles are just smiles hon

Like everything else, they have to practice muscle movements, so if they do it in their sleep it might just be smiling practice xx
