Small soft spot :(

Hi ladies
I just wondered if anyone has experienced this. The hv came yesterday for Sams check up. His weight and length is fine however she commented that his soft spot is small and will need monitoring.
When I asked when and how she said by measuring his head in about three months time . She measured his head yday and it was on track.
But I've been stupid and googled and it says that he may need surgey if it closes up!!! I'm now stressing

He's on track with milestones eg holding head, tracking people, responding to noise etc etc

Does any one know when it does close?
Has any one experienced this?

Dont know too much about it tbh, H still has his (looking at it at the moment while he is in his jumparoo) The hv's love to worry you tho dont they??

Thanks for replying ladies, I think if there was something I could do now I'd feel slightly better. He's at the doc on fri (dry skin) so hopefully she will offer some reassurance xx
