I am really becoming very limited in what I feel able to eat!

I can't bear the thought of eating anything like lasagne or similar food such as spag bol and when I open my fridge the thought of eating most of the food in there (which I bought!!) repulses me!

I am fine with take away curry and with oven chips, lightly buttered toast, jacket potato, various fruit and chocolate but I can't live on that!?!?

I can eat cereal but I end up being sick within a few minutes of eating that so not sure it's worth it.

Is this normal?!

I think it is completely normal - if I were you I would stick to things you fancy eating, bubs will be getting all nutrients from you and your tastes will probably change as you progress :)

I've found that I don't want to eat any of my food either...... And I've spent far too long reading about all the stuff I should / shouldn't eat while pregnant. I'm really nervous as this is my first pregnancy, and I'm desperate to do it all right!

What do you do though when everything remotely healthy just looks yuk??

DH is a star and just popped out to pick me up a baked potato and some chocolate so I'm all set for tonight!

I have bread and butter on standby at all times so I'll not starve

Same for me, in the past couple of weeks I have not really been able to eat that much, especially in the evenings - can just about manage a couple of slices of toast, only with butter though. It's so frustrating cos I am still cooking for OH but not eating it myself, :wall2:. Sweet stuff is especially a no go, or anything greasy or too soft a texture. Hoping not being able to eat chocolate will help me lose a few pounds - had to tell people I've given up sweet things for Lent!
