Do you feel the connection?

Hello all I am Julia, this is my first baby and I am so excited!

From your experience I would like to know if you feel the connection with your baby. I mean: do you try to understand what he/she need? If she is trying to talk to you... does he/she say something?
For example, I know that for me is absolutely too early!!! But I feel that my baby is a girl, I believe it and is not because I want a girl - for me doesn't matter - is because I am convinced that she is. I think that more and more will pass the time I will fell more connection and maybe I will feel her thought!... when she will have a brain!
What do you think? Do you feel the connecrion? What does she/he says to you?

Hi welcome to PF.

Yeah i sort of do, for me its prob wishful thinking hoping mine is a girl! hehe
I feel protective and sooo into my baby already. I am already completely consumed with thoughts of this baby.
I dont know if i will feel the babies needs yet though

with my mc I did, well, I think we both did, we were both positive it was a boy, so he got called Archie
I was also very aware at the time that he went that something wasn't right...

... this time is different, but I think part of that is fear that I will mc again, so not letting myself get attached so early, also this time the symptoms are completely different and subtle....
