******December Mummies 2018******

Hopeful1976 I’m so so sorry to read that post. I wish you and your family strength and love at this terrible time xx

Hopeful our thoughts are with you, i am so very sorry to hear your experience and you’ve been so strong to explain it all to the group. I cannot imagine what you’re going through. Sending all our love and best wishes xx

Oh ladies, I feel so bad today. Woke up with a migraine and had to take migraleve. Now I feel guilty! Worried it will be bad for the baby but if I didn't take it I'd have been stuck in bed all day and we have so much on today. My kids have the dentist and a sponsored walk at school plus another thing with my youngest this afternoon that we pay in advance and have already missed 2 weeks. I hope 1 dose won't do any harm. I know I had to take it a couple of times during my last pregnancy and the doctor said it was ok if there was no other option but I can't remember what stage of pregnancy I was at.

So sorry hopeful xxxxx

Hi Pingu. Have the doctors prescribed it for you knowing you're pregnant if so I wouldn't worry they would only give you something minimum risk you have to look after yourself too. I have anxiety hut came off my citalopram and was given beta blockers and had to take two a couple of weeks back as was so anxious and couldn't breathe and I felt awful as didn't want harm baby.

No I wasn't prescribed it although I have had it on prescription before. I asked during my previous pregnancy, at a MW appointment when a doctor was there, and they said as long as it wasn't used very often but I can't remember if I was further on than 12 weeks. I only had 1 dose so surely it won't matter too much. I suppose there's people out there who do much worse and their babies turn out ok!
I hope your anxiety is under control now. That must be quite hard to deal with sometimes.

Scan went well today, been moved from 12+1 to 13 weeks so now due 14th.
Crazy seeing baby for first time!! Feels very very real now

I'm sure baby will be all fine Pingu but I know what it's like to panic but exactly like you said people do much worse and have healthy babies. Anxiety is so much better in fact the pregnancy has actually seemed to help! I'm very stressed at work at the moment but know I'm not going back so just trying to relax. Hope you don't suffer with too many more migraines

I actually saw a visibly pregnant lady proudly puffing on a cigarette when I left one of my hospital appointments! Taking medication that you need is not even on the same scale. You have to keep yourself healthy and as pain-free as possible.

Eaw123 so happy to read about your scan, that's fantastic! :-)
I think you also asked a while ago about midwife appointments. My midwife wanted to see me at 16 weeks but I have a training course on that day, and she was absolutely fine with postponing for a week.

Just sharing my scan pic. :-)
A couple of my friends have commented on the impressive posture!

Thanks for the reassurance ladies! xx

I am loving all these scan photos! So cute! x

Morning everyone. Can I ask what you're meant to do with the FW8 application for prescription charge exemption form?
The midwife gave it to me and said it is sent off for and you get a card to use (when pregnancy is confirmed at 12 wk scan), so now what do I do to get the form completed/sent off?

Thank you, hope you're all having a nice weekend! x
