I'm pleased your scans both went well. We don't get offered the harmony test here either I'm in east anglia.

I was going to pay privately. My MW said they could take the bloods and send them off but apparently they stopped doing that, she had recently been on maternity leave so didn't know.

P1ngu glad everything went well! I’ve just had the bloods taken also, didn’t get offer a harmony test. I’ve been put back 2 days so due 23rd.. looks like we’re both due the same day!

I nearly told work today but couldn't find the right moment. My boss then left early and is now off for a week, so next week it is! Agh just want that bit over and done with, not looking forward to it!!xx

Hello!! Sorry about my absence, I've been working back to back night shifts and barely had time to do anything other than eat and sleep.

We had our 12 week scan and it was great! Lovely little heartbeat and baby was measuring 2 days ahead at 12+2. I also had the Harmony test which came back low risk for everything and we found out we are having a girl!!

How is everyone doing? Im still battling with nausea and no energy but hoping it gets better soon xx

So glad ur OK lol! That's amazing news about the harmony test and ur the first to know what u r having! Little girls r just amazing it's like having a mini best friend. I'm still battling nausea too and we go on holiday on Thursday so hoping I can enjoy it xx

I'm 13 weeks now and not sure when to stop my folic acid. I know some people say you don't need to take it after 12 weeks but I'm nervous to stop

I think you can stop at 12 I haven’t had any because of sickness

Ashamed to say it but I stopped taking mine weeks ago. I was just too nauseated to get those tablets down. I have an issue taking tablets anyway since I my last hospital stay a couple of years ago when they made me take a fistful every few hours...

NHS says folic acid until 12 weeks but to take vitamin D throughout pregnancy. I'm taking folic acid with vitamin D in it so I may just keep taking it until I run out then get pregnacare. Yes long wait next scan is 1st of August I'm so nervous of that long a wait apprantley you hear heartbeat at midwifes appointment on 16th week

I've just picked up a prescription for aspirin today. I've been given it due to blood pressure problems in previous 2 pregnancies and low birth weight. I'm a bit nervous about taking them but a baby bigger than 4lbs odd at almost full term would be good!

I just got a call from my MW to say my papp-a level is low. They think it might have been low in past pregnancies (but it wasn't routine to check back then) as it is supposedly linked to low birth weight/fetal growth restriction. Of course I googled and found that low papp-a levels are common when there is an abnormality. My NT test came back with a risk of 1 in 8927 so I hope all is okay. There's so many scary stories online about low papp levels, I need to stay away from google. The MW also have me a list of all my scans because they have them booked in already, after the 20wk scan I have 1 in October, 2 in November and another in December!

Great pic P1ngu, amazing! Yes, try not to read too much on google and be led by the midwives i'd say. At least you get lots of additional scans, that will be reassuring for you xx
